I'm with Alistair on this one: "Brock definitely doesn't like to get hit. I'm going to hit him. I'm going to hit him as hard as I can. And .... I'm pretty good at it." He's guaranteeing a second round knockout if not an earlier one.

Diaz v. Cerrone should provide some itneresting fireworks as well.

O/U on time before Brock attempts a takedown?

15 seconds sound good?

He better get him down on his first attempt and it better be right away or he's getting KTFO. If Brock is dumb enough to try and stand with Overheem he deserves to lose. He's so outclassed standing it's not even funny.

Overheem is bizzaro Brock though, if it goes to the ground Brock will finish it just as quick. Overheem's HW mma credentials ain't half as impressive as they sound the only thing he's done that's actually worth mentioning is winning the K-1 world GP. He does have some pretty good names on his list of fights but they where all at middle weight.

I don't think Shogun or Arona 4 years ago at middle weight quite prepares you for getting taken down by Brock

This fight won't last 2 minutes and it all hinges on whether or not Brock can get the takedown right away

He better not go over than that.

It will be interesting to see what happens if he can't take him down.

When he failed to take Cain down and gain control, you could tell Brock was up the creek without a paddle and he knew it. His face was just, "what do I do now".

If he doesn't get Overheem to the ground and maintain control he's going to lose.

I can't see him standing and exchanging with Overheem. His only other chance would be to get lucky and land a haymaker.

How if Overeem's take down defense and Jiu-jutsu? I saw his bouts against Shogun and, if memory serves, he didn't seem too good at avoiding takedowns and defending himself from the bottom.

Very hard to judge when all you really have to go on us old fights where he was a 3rd of his current size. In recent years against very questionable opponents he just seems to shrug them off and rag-doll anyone who attempts to take him down across the ring. I think the biggest risk trying to take him down is his knee strikes if one connects it doesn't matter who you are you're not walking out of the ring afterwards

7-8 seconds he'll attempt to take him down and I do believe he'll take him down.

It's the only shot Brock has of winning that fight is getting him down early, laying on him and making AO really work to get Brock off him.

If Brock is dumb enough to try and stand with him then he should just stop being an MMA fighter right now because it would honestly be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

Overeem knows a takedown is comIng and has a better chance of defending it than Brock does defending in stand-up

Reem has better ground game then some of y'all think......plus he has 1 of the best knee I've ever seen(limits Brock on take downs he can do safely)........its an easy win for Reem IMO

If Reem's timing is right, I can see this fight ending the moment Brock attempts a takedown. The big unknown for me is his ability to fight on the ground once someone gets him down. The only fight I've seen where he's been on his back is when Shogun pounded him senseless.

Brock might get in close and grapple. Attempting a trip or hip throw in lieu of a double-leg shoot.

Or just do like Kurt angle in Warrior and pick the guy up over his head and chuck him against the cage

Lesner may get beaten, but he'll forever be in my good graces for the straight bully beatdown he put on Frank Mir during their second fight.

He right and wrong at the same time standing clinching with Overeem like he suggests Brock can easily take him down against the cage is not without risk. If Brock has a power advantage it's not by a whole lot and in the clinch with Overeem is not where you want to be. Brock gets easy takedowns party cause of his power and he's not going to just power trough someone like Overeem. He's going to have to rely more on technique, not saying he can't do that just that we've not seen it from him once cause he always overpowers people so we can really sit here and say he can take him down easy

Just watched the weigh-in.

Lesnar looks soggy when standing next to AO.

That guy is just built like a tank.

And for anyone with an XBOX. Supposedly there's gonna be some free tickets handed tomorrow to watch over XBOX Live.

Guess it's gonna be tomorrow. The twitter feed has been saying leading up to the fight and they haven't released anything yet.

Fffffffffff

Wont be able to watch tonight. Any ideas?

Maybe I can block Dana white on twitter for tonight and then look for it on YouTube tomorrow? The description in the title would probably give it away
