Dream gives him easy fights, he's no where near the fighter he was in K1 and Pride if he was to go against some of the better HW in the UFC he'd lose and lose badly. In Japan they'll keep feeding him the likes of Hong Man Choi, Akebono, Bob Sapp and Don Frye

Cro Cop said on his site yesterday that he hasn't signed with DREAM yet. He's wondering why Dana is going so crazy. He said his only issue is that he doesn't want to wait 6 months in between each fight.

It's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out then because the above story seems to indicate that he already did sign, and had signed prior to his UFC fight, for a 3 fight deal with Dream.

I can't see how not waiting 6 months is the issue. Kongo doesn't wait 6. Anderson Silva doesn't have to wait 6.

If he really wants to fight more often then I don't think that would be a real sticking point because White has shown he's willing to let guys fights pretty often if they're willing to put in the hard work.


I think Kongo has now had like 4 fights since last November or December.

I thought Wanderlei won the fight.

The first round Franklin won. He was controlling the pace and got him with some decent hits. Not to mention wanderlei was off balance.

However the second round was clearly won by Wanderlei. He rocked HIm real good and would of finished Him if Franklin didnt take him to the ground.

The 3rd round was also for Silva. He was more aggressive and created more damage. Franklin was going for the counter ONly and was not creating anything.


Off damage alone I give the fight to Silva. Off hits on target the fight is franklins.

I felt like Wanderlei should've gotten at least a split with Franklin. To me he was doing more damage, but Franklin picked him apart so it's tough argue against him winning.

Is there anything to say about Cheick Kongo at this point besides LOL? He's a turtle on the ground and for reason he decided clinching with CAIN VELAQUEZ was a good idea (I know about Kongo's Greco Roman background, but still). Velaquez showed that he can take some punishment in this fight as well. #1 priority for him should be becoming more of a finisher. He's still very inexperienced, but he's going to need to start finishing some guys.
