This isn't really fair to the Mustang, since just about every car that came out of the late 80s was fugly.

I'm actually drawin to the "fox box" mustang of the 80's. 50/50 weight split, decent 5.0 engine. dad had one but it was modded like crazy unfortunately it was what he was driving when he got into the wreck that took his life. :(. Still a hell of a car tho

ugly cars:
nissan (cept 350z)
honda
misubishy (how ever that crap car is spelled)
newer styled impalas (96 is my fav year though)

That cars fate was sealed by it's inclusion in Ice Ice Baby.

I go crazy when I hear a cymbal
And a hi-hat with a souped up tempo
I'm on a roll and it's time to go solo
Rollin' in my 5.0
With my rag-top down so my hair can blow
The girlies on standby waving just to say hi
Did you stop no I just drove by

Oh Vanilla Ice...

Heh, having spent some time in Japan in my youth, lets just say that "box car" design that some of you hate so much is somewhat prevalent in Japan. It's considered to be "cute" in an off-beat kind of way.

Personally, I think it's kinda cool though I'd never drive one myself.

Edit: Actually, having a closer look at that Scion BBX that was linked, I'm not sure I've seen anything else that looks like that. The front end of it just looks ill-designed.

I hope anyone who owns one of these cars is never in a wreck

I hear they are surprisingly sturdy since there is no room for crumple zones.

Try driving an all maroon (inside and out) 1978 chevy monza and tell me that its not the ugliest damn thing you have ever seen.

That thing was a monster. Smaller in size than other beasts but it took a header pretty well and let me walk away to tell about.

Anyone see any of those cars made out wood?

Get into a wreak with one of those...pick splinters out of your butt if you survive!

Reminds me of a time as a child when my beloved, albeit cranky and quirky, grandfather and I wrecked a Chris Craft while chasing a giant trout named Walter.
