I wasn't in a gang..nor have I ever been in a gang. Undergrad = college

It was a regular nightclub. I was driving alone that night and didn't want to park too far from the entrance.

joke: a humorous anecdote or remark intended to provoke laughter; "he told a very funny joke"; "he knows a million gags"; "thanks for the laugh"; etc.

Ford Granada
There was a guy I grew up with, sorta, who had one of those. He was my brother's friend more than he was mine.

It was sky blue and he'd hooked that car up. Rims, tinted windows, and a big time stereo system that you could hear blocks away.

It was still ugly. :D

The Ford Granada was my first car.

I was foolish enough to buy a 1980 Ford Granada my Senior year in 1996  .

It was yellow and everyone called it the "Yella Fella" :D . I had to keep a can of WD40 (RIP WD40 inventor who just passed away) because it would literally just stop and I would have to spray it in the Throttle Top/Carborator to get it to start again.

I almost died/passed out in it on the way home from work. The exhaust manifold was busted and Carbon Monoxide came in through the vents. It was so cold that night, I decided to turn the heater on but roll the windows down a little bit. Needless to say, I had to eventually pull over for a little while because I felt dizzy :laugh2: .

Drive one of these and tell me there is an uglier car. Solid maroon, inside and out.

1979 Chevy Monza

HEY... my first car was a 1979 Monza... but I had the notchback as opposed to the God Awful hatchback...

The Matador is the only car that was modeled after a catfish...

AMC cornered the market on consistently ugly cars top to bottom back in the day...

I actually had one of those. It was the 1979 wagon version though. It was that color before I painted it white and custom painted the hubcaps too. It had a V6 and could actually giddyup. I made it from Tucson to Deming, New Mexico one time in just over 2 and a half hours.

Best thing about the car though by far was the A/C. You could hang meat in my car in a matter of seconds. Freezing cold A/C.

It was danged ugly, but I couldn't turn down the price on my college income and I needed a car badly at the time. I actually liked the blasted thing. Sold it to my brother after I got married. One of our cousins totalled it.
