I think the Cowboys would have done well to try and play a Bill Parcells type of game. That is, try to control time of possession and in this case use the mighty offense as part of the defense.
I keep wondering why the Cowboys didn't let Tony Romo roll out so he could avoid rush and find receivers. Also, I dont want to start anything with Barber/Jones, but it is two weeks in a row we get off to a slow start because Jones is in there in the first series and we go 3 and out. Barber should be the starter and Jones should be change of pace back.
We just could not get the ball back from Brady and that was what I was afraid of in this game.
I would have used Romo to roll out and dink and dunk and given the Pats a big dose of Barber. And every once in a while I would let Romo attempt a big throw.
The game plan of trying to match them point for point just was not going to work.
Oh and that last touchdown was classless by Belicheck. That was a rub it in your face move.
