I think the Cowboys would have done well to try and play a Bill Parcells type of game. That is, try to control time of possession and in this case use the mighty offense as part of the defense.

I keep wondering why the Cowboys didn't let Tony Romo roll out so he could avoid rush and find receivers. Also, I dont want to start anything with Barber/Jones, but it is two weeks in a row we get off to a slow start because Jones is in there in the first series and we go 3 and out. Barber should be the starter and Jones should be change of pace back.

We just could not get the ball back from Brady and that was what I was afraid of in this game.

I would have used Romo to roll out and dink and dunk and given the Pats a big dose of Barber. And every once in a while I would let Romo attempt a big throw.

The game plan of trying to match them point for point just was not going to work.

Oh and that last touchdown was classless by Belicheck. That was a rub it in your face move.

Strangely enough I though the Pats were playing a ball control offence. It's like the Boys in the 90s. They ran playes everybody new and they still made the playes. They (the Pats and The 90s Boys) were just better at it today. Not a lot of really long receptions by the Pats but they made 3rd downs like crazy.

yeah, they definitely kept our offense off the field. Then when did get on, it was rough and tumble.

Pick your Poison...Moss deep or dink & dunks. Looks like the Pats thought they would mx protect and take their shots once a quater but mostly rely on Brady to make those big 3 step 3 yard throws. We never adjusted to the dink & dunk.

Pretty much what they have been doing all season. Threatening deep and taking the underneath stuff. Brady is so accurate and his WRs are doing a great job of getting seperation that it makes it darn near impossible to stop them. Dallas just didnt have an answer for them. Even when they had good coverage Brady made a great throw to keep the chains moving.

Again, I think we have play like real underdogs. Do all we can to take Pats offense off the field. A heavy dose of running would be nice. Whatever happened to the idea of running the ball for time of possession control? Today would have been a good day to do that.

By doing that it would basically be saying that they are better than us and we would have to adjust our bread and butter and do something that weaker teams have to do to have a shot in the end.

That would be why they are 6-0. The dink & dunk kept the Dallas Offense ( and running game) off the field.
