There is just no way that this team can accomplish their goals without a run game that can impose its will.
Dak has these games where he can’t figure out coverages, receivers can’t get off coverage, we don’t design plays & make in game adjustments to beat those coverages.
These Shannahan disciples always school them. Every single time it feels like.
A strong run game is our only path to overcoming these type of situations like we saw last night.
If Dak had more mobility I think it would be different but he’s got minimal escapability so the answer to all of this is we got to get better at running teams over.
Also, side note, if a team offered a 1st round pick for George Pickens I think you have to seriously consider it because this Cowboys team doesn’t look like they are capable of winning in the playoffs or winning much with our pass game because situations like last night are always on the horizon for this team.
