Unapologetic and maybe even reckless prognostication: McCarthy will get extra creative this year

I proved nothing for you. He was still the HC, so he was still responsible. And his offense looked better than the previous goofballs.
Oh the previous goofball who also was capable of putting up big numbers in this offense. You’ve proven my point again. You are killing it today bro. Mad props to you

What in the world have you seen in the 4 previous years that would give you any hope that McCarthy is creative? McCarthy is going to do what Jerry tells him to do because he wants a new contract and he can't get a new contract if he bucks the boss.
I’m think he’s sick of Jerry and if this is his final season, he might just be a little creative.

They had to dumb down the offense for Dak in the off-season and had to make changes after the bye to force feed Lamb.

They also said they didn’t want to operate at a high pace and run the ball, but had to scrap that and run at a higher pace, because Dak can’t dissect a defense.
Nothing changes. Lol.

First six games: We will discover that it was in the closed practices that McCarthy installed a myriad of plays designed around Luepke as a new special weapon that hearkens back to McC's GB days and his FBs.

After the off-week: We will discover that McCarthy installed another wrinkle for the opposition to deal with... a new base formation that is run-first, but out of which, other pre-snap formations will be accommodated for as long as the team isn't attempting to operate at a higher pace... challenging opposing defenses to have to think about and possibly readjust their own calls rapidly, something like would have been considered conventional Tom Landry philosophy back in the day.

After Thanksgiving: We will discover that the final special weapon will be deployed... Trey Lance. And it will be the talk of the end of the year how McCarthy took a cue from Sean Payton's ingenuity with Taysom Hill and did some things even more impressive than any of that.

Why not all of it at once? Because McC has undeniably a good sense for how long a season is, and how it's so beneficial to have some new something to roll-out periodically that the other side has to account for.
yet he can't figure out time management during the games.

Unfortunately the main outlet for Mike's creativity is his choice of pizza toppings.

Proven nothing for you.
At least we did not get the stupid goofball plays at critical times in the game with MM calling plays.
Goofball Moore drive killing stupid plays.

Another fan myth.
And actually this is the 2nd year of MM's offense. Before he was stuck with Moore and the out dated Garrett offense.
They made 30% changes last year. And probably even more this year, though we have not heard anything about it. Nor should we hear anything g about it.

The closed to the media practices, is where they installed the things not previous shown.
You realize you just agreed with the part you bolded, right? He was stuck with Moore because he is a puppet, just like Wade Phillips was stuck with Garrett.

..its hard to say, whats going to happen. I think MM plays what the game gives him.

You have bunch new players. Finding the right plays, building timing and strengths. Is what I would think, will be focus on.

The first six games, will be telling where its going to go. By then adjustments if any.

In any case, winning most of them will keep moral high.

I don't know if MM is going to be more creative or not - he's not really that vanilla to begin with.

But no way this is a plan, nor should it be. Kuhn was never a weapon.

Define "weapon." Because... while I do mean to suggest we'll learn that the reason we didn't see last season's bonus baby UDFA very much at all in Oxnard or at all period in preseason games is that they were purposefully hiding their intentions... I do not mean to suggest I'm envisioning Luepke as anything like a primary weapon. But I do mean to suggest he will be a weapon similar to how Kyle Juszczyk has been deployed in SF. He will be an important new additional element to the offense, not only with the ball, but... like Kuhn... without the ball.

Nah. He's not a good enough player to build any packages around, and they don't do it with Juszczyk either. He's not a weapon.

He could catch a 1-yard pass in the flat and lead block last year. The more important players like this are to your offense, the worse the offense is. It's not a coincidence that Juszczyk has gotten fewer touches as the talent around SF has improved.

I'm speculating. You're speculating. And that's okay. The season hasn't begun, so what else are we gonna do.

But I'd just offer that my suspicions are the result of asking myself... "Why the heck are you not playing at all this kid who is nothing more than a UDFA in his 2nd season, and who flashed but did not force himself into the mix last season... why are you not giving this kid as many snaps as you can in preseason?" And paired with how McC has spoken of him when asked (he has verbatim said straight-up that Luepke will be an element in the offense this year)... the only answer I can come up with is... they believe they know everything they need to know, and they don't want to give anything away.

Luepke is a legit RB. The question has mainly been whether he could develop enough into a blocker that he can justify getting regular snaps.

Wouldn't this comment deny its a myth?

Who decided on Moore and the outdated offense? You think that was an MM deal breaker?

I'd certainly welcome some creativity but Jerry doesn't grant much autonomy to his head coaches. Everyone tip toes on eggshells in constant anticipation of being fired.
