If it is just an isolated medium grade fibula fracture, he should be able to play next year. I'm not sure what kind of shape he'll be in the for the Combine but he may be up to speed for a late Pro Day.

That's exactly what I was thinking. And if he falls to our 5th round pick I hope we take him. I would be less than happy if we passed on him for someone else.

Usually these are 6-8 week recovery times. Combine is in late February usually so it will be close if he is ready to go.
