Most of these guys will at least go to camp. Tank is about the only one I can see that definitely will be gone before camp. Brad Johnson is a possibility.

There was nothing wrong with Spears or Ellis. I say keep both. There is no clear cut replacement as a starter for Spears unless you move Ratliff. You can't move Ratliff until you get a NT you can count on. Ellis is a pass rusher and dependable. I have nothing against a reduced role for him, but I see no reason to get rid of him. Dallas needs as many pass rushers as they can find. Ellis does not hurt the team and does not cost that much.

Flozell Adams did not under achieve. He got hurt during the season. It is hard to play at your best as a left tackle when you don't have full use of your left arm. This team needs competent back ups and right now they only have Holland. I would keep Proctor at least through camp only because he gained a lot of experience this season, but there needs to be at least 4 guys brought in on the offensive line.

Hurd I think his time in Dallas is done

Adams The salary cap ensures he'll be around in '09, although I'd looks for his replacement soon
Corey Proctor Again, why is he here now?

Secondary

roy Williams I'd say it's 50-50 on his return
Bobby Carpenter The sooner he goes, the sooner the team can close the bokk on that wasted #1 draft pick
Justin Rogers Again, why is he here now?
Patrick Watkins He just doesn't seem to have it to contribute at safety. Special teams might keep him around.


Defensive line

Marcus Spears I think he's under contract for another year at a reasonable rate. No reason to cut him but replacing him as a starter isn't out of the question either
Tank Johnson He IS gone
Greg Ellis Given Spencer's recent gaffe, I don't think the team will be in a hurry to get rid of Ellis unless he makes a public plea to be traded/released
