I hope we stay away from Cook if he can't even stay on his team....Brandon Spikes will start to be in my mock drafts if he's declares.

Cook isn't being kicked off the team, he's just academically ineligible to play in the bowl game. In the NCAA you are required to pass 6 credit hours towards your major in order to be eligible, and he didn't get 6 hours towards his major apparently. Coaches said they expect him to forego his senior year and enter the draft. He's a good player but not a fit for us IMO. He is a very sure tackler and will probably make a pretty good SS, but he's not shown much in coverage from what I've seen.

As far as Spikes goes, you can probably forget about him. He'll probably be gone before the Lions use our first pick.

So he couldn't pass two classes.....

Vontae Davis and Sen'Derrick Marks are officially declaring for the draft

a couple who have shown strong indications of declaring are Penn State DE Aaron Maybin and Marks' Auburn teammate, DE Antonio Coleman

I would be very surprise if Andre Smith Ot from Alabama does not declared now since he has been suspended for the Sugar Bowl for violating team rules. Some mocks has him going as the 2nd pick overall and most in the top 5.

and now the Alabama DA is investigating

although Saban says it's an institutional matter, not a NCAA, contact with a pro agent matter, which he's being investigated for

he's coming out

South Carolina CB Captain Munneryln and LB Eric Norwood officially declare

damn, wish we had a 1st round pick now

Ole Miss stud DE Greg Hardy is another strong candidate to declare

He can also play TE and he's a Memphis native. :D

Too bad he'll be long gone. :(

Im good friends with Eric Norwood. Played high school football with me.

he is FROM texas, and PLAYS ILB. Not to mention he's athletic, a great pashrusher and 270.

I say pick him with our 3rd rnd :)

sources are saying LSU DT Ricky Jean Francois is declaring (looks like a mistake, dude hasn't really done anything since his Freshman year)

kffl is saying that South Carolina S Emanuel Cook is declaring

With Thomas gone, Burnett injured all the time, and barbie...

he is a great pash rusher.
