Underrated or Overrated Speed Question?

Is it just me or did T.O run by the "fastest man in the NFL" with ease last night?

I hope that T-New does make the Probowl and that Deangelo makes it as well. That being the case the can truly race it out for the title.

I want to see if the Big 12 champ still has that track speed.

And speaking of being underrated.. For you Madden players out there T.O has 93 speed in the game compared to Deangelo's 98. I think I need to see a roster update. I am going to write EA with that clip as an attachment and demand an update.

No respect for T.O's speed and too much for Hall. Deangelo didnt display that "catch up" speed that his idle Deion had. I'm sure his injury might have had something to do with it, but still he was smoked...

also last week on JJ's long run, the only one who was going to catch him was TO, I was really surprised by him speed.

You can see Hall looking into the backfield on the play. That slowed him down enough for T.O. to get by him. That is usually all it takes for the slower guy to get by the faster guy and T.O. is not a slow guy.

The thing is, Hall isn't even close to being the fastest man in the NFL. I'd say Santana Moss and Newman are substantially faster if they ran a 100 meter dash and Randall Williams would cold smoke him. In fact, I'd bet that Jacques Reeves is much faster than Hall.

T.O is very fast. Dont you remember last game against the Saints where T.O outran every defensive player on the Saints when He was chacing JJ. And He was about 5-7 yards behind them all.

I'm betting that TO is a low 4.3 guy and possibly a 4.2. I'm talking about acceleration. And BTW, it's hard to measure who's the fastest when you don't test every player every year.

Until they do 40 times in full gear and on a playing surface 40 times are are irrelevant. Because if you run a 4.3 in shorts but a 4.7 in pads your are slow. Where as if you can run a 4.3 in shorts and 4.5 in pads it means you can play fast on the field.

hines ward is slow for an nfl receiver

I think T.O. is slow without pads, but hes so strong that when he puts pads on that it doesn't slow him up as much as it would for a small guy like Hall.
