I've been reviewing game footage of Alvin Bailey. He is an impressive physical specimen. He has very good power and surprising quickness. His technique is not perfect; however, it does not help that Arkansas has a wacky scheme where the OLinemen swaps sides based on strong-side and weak-side. He basically plays both RG and LG throughout the game. His technique is probably better than Warford's.

His combine weight was 312, but he looks bigger in game footage. He has a very solid build. In game footage his build looks much more like Warford or Warmack than Pugh, yet his quickness/agility measureables are as good or better than Pugh's. He also has excellent arm length for an OG.

I saw a scouting report that said that he was on the ground too much, but in the games I've watched, I didn't see it. Yes, he did hit the ground on some open field block attempts; however, I've seen Warmack and Warford do the exact same thing at a similar frequency.

One thing I read on a draft site is the concensus is that he played better the previous season and then it was a bit of a surprise when he declared as a Junior. I always worry about players that don't show a pattern of consistent improvement from one year to the next. It makes me worry that their play won't grow as it needs to once they hit the NFL and have to step it up yet another notch.

I do agree he looks the part of the prototypical OG for our system.

I'd definitely be interested in him in the 3rd and very interested in the 4th round. I'd love him if he slipped into the fifth round.

The overall Arkansas offense seemed a bit disorganized and out of sync at times in 2012.

I have been warming up to the idea that he might be a good fit for Dallas. I think he will go higher than most people expect. I don't think he lasts until the 4th round. Something tells me he will be gone by the early third. Just my gut feeling.

I'm with you.
Bailey is going to play in the NFL a long time. Never been a fan of Warford, guy looks stiff as board to me and seems to lack that explosive element for a guard considered a road grader. If the Cowboys can get Bailey in the third/fourth round I think they will have done really well.
