Just a thread for everybody to throw out names with guys they like that aren't being talked about much on this board yet.

CB Ahkello WItherspoon Colorado- 6'3 190 with fluid hips and quick feet. Can back peddle and turn and run unlike most guys with his height. Had 23 passes defended last year...but only 1 INT. His run defense is pretty poor and he needs to add weight. Rare combo of height and athleticism that's make him a really interesting mid round option. I like him more than his more highly publicized teammate Awuzie.

S- Marcus Maye Florida- Hybrid safety, in that he can play either FS or SS. Muscular frame and a good tackler. Capable of man coverage when needed, not a liability in coverage at all. All-American as a JR with 82 tackles, 2 INT's and 5 FF. Was having a good senior season until he broke his wrist and missed the last 4 games. I think he's a decent FS prospect, but much better as a SS who plays downhill where we would need him.

TE- Michael Roberts Toledo- 6'4 260 with long arms, big hands, and a muscular frame. Not an elite athlete but he's athletic and fluid enough. His blocking technique needs some work, but he shows the willingness and power to be an asset in the run game. 45 catches for 533 yards and 16! TD's his senior year. Redzone weapon, he can use his big frame and good body control to make tough catches in traffic.

DE- Avery Moss Youngstown St- Former Nebraska recruit who had 4.5 sacks as a reserve in 2014. Was on his way to a nice career until he had an off the field incident that got him kicked out of school. He apparently flashed a female student...incredibly stupid, but not sure it's the type of thing you don't draft someone for. Obviously would have to look into his character though. What he brings on the field is a very sudden burst and the ability to bend and turn the corner after the QB. He is a true quick twitch RDE. He needs to add weight and get stronger to be a 3 down 4-3 DE, but there's an intriguing skill set here.

Gareon Conley CB Ohio State
Duke Riley LB LSU
Chris Godwin WR Penn State
Kareem Hunt RB Toledo

Those are 4 I really like compared to where they are currently being rated. I can't say I've seen much chatter about them other than you talking above Godwin a few days ago.

I like Duke Riley too. I was a big fan of Deion Jones last year, who tore it up this year with the Falcons. He was all over the field this year with his speed.

Riley is like that too. If Jaylon comes back, with Wilson and Nacho on the team, LB kinda becomes a luxury. But I think with his speed and the amount we run nickel, he could be the third linebacker in a base 4-3 that gives you the kind of speed you'd see in that extra DB in nickel, while also being stout against the run.

I'm not as confident in Jaylon as a lot of people here are. I know a lot of people are assuming he will be fully healthy, but I'm not there yet. Without Jaylon, LB is a massive hole so I'm looking at quite a few LBs.

He could rise up some, but if not he's probably going to be available somewhere between our 3rd and 4th. That's plenty low enough for a Jaylon/Lee insurance policy. All I know is I could find a spot on my team for him.

Agreed. And even if he does manage to make it to camp 100%, how much confidence should we have in Jaylon/Lee playing 16 games? Very little imo, and Hitch is a nice backup but someone who brings a little more to the table would be nice. As you said, it's not worth a high investment, but 3rd or 4th round LB and I wouldn't be mad at all. Haven't watched Riley so I'll have to take a look. Elijah Lee is another name I like as well

Witherspoon and Maye both look good to me.

Al-Quadin Muhammad might make an interesting late round selection at a position we need.

I really like Witherspoon as a day 3 prospect. Definitely hope we get him in the later rounds. Some guys I've been looking at are Jake Replogle, Channing Stribling, and Ejuan Price. Also, K.D. Cannon and Stacey Coley are two decent late round receivers with speed.

Jaylon is a prayer at this time
This team better go into the off season not counting on jaylon, Lawrence and tapper at all

Johnson has a shot to be sneaky good.

Anzalone reminds me too much of Kiko Alonso.

Where do you guys see Carlos Henderson going? Third or fourth round? He seems pretty electric with the ball in his hands, but I've also seen him with somewhat inconsistent hands at times and body catch more balls than I like. I can't tell if he's over/underrated at this point.

Anzalone can't stay on the field. Injury prone LB's are a no go for me. It he can't play 10 college games in a row he's going to have a real hard time trying to survive an NFL season.

I do like the other 2 tho. Johnson is very intruiging. Haven't dove too far into his tape (and YouTube scouting a S is almost impossible anyway), but he looks like he has a very nice skillset. Good size and looks like a very smooth fluid athlete.

He is the sleeper all the cool kids are picking this year.
Being a WKU grad, it's a homer pick for me. But, I've watched him throughout his entire career and he is explosive and as productive as any WR in college.

What is the deal with Leon Allen? He was supposed to be on his way bit looks like a lot of injuries.

Allen had a very bad knee injury in the second game of the 2015 season. He spent this past season continuing his rehab. I haven't heard how he's looking, but he was a very good back before the injury. He definitely had NFL potential. Now? I just don't know. Anthony "Ace" Wells just finished his senior year and is a good back as well. If he plays in the NFL, I think he'll be more of a change of pace back since he's not very big. But, he runs tough for his size. Of course, I always pull hard for the hometown guys.

I think he is underrated and most media guides have him in the fourth rd. He will remain there until the combine starts the separation process. He has traits that are spellbinding.
