Got a link to prove that?Yeah, let me know how their ratings are going. I'll save you the suspense, they lose to home and garden shows. Not joking.

The moment you bring up something to provoke thought that's not rose colored the claws come out. I love this board.
Pandering to the lowest common denominator...
It's not thought provoking its shock journalism and not even realistic. Those clowns have no idea how the salary cap actually works. Do you know how much dead money we would have on the books from trading those two? They said it clears up "40 million" for free agents. Uhh no dude that's not how the cap works

it doesnt have to be realistic to be shocking or thought provoking
On the surface, it's an idiotic idea. Add to that the fact that it came from McFlabb and it's borderline short bus.The first issue is the source.. I have ZERO respect for McNabb.. he sucks and is bitter. Why do they go on as if Dez is T.O. ??
If course not. But if you're going for the shock value at least be realistic
Which one is possible?Neither dez or romo is getting traded. The media loves ratings and this is about ratings and attention. But reality sits in when you look at the cap. While trading one in theory is possible, so is winning the lottery. But I would bet the farm on either

Read that & then find me a newer link smart guy.
So correct me if I'm wrong. If we find a suitor willing to absorb the contracts "as is" (which I believe that's how they were referencing it) you gain cap relief. It's not thought provoking its shock journalism and not even realistic. Oh. So you can't find a better fresher link than the one published 10 days ago that supports your position. OH OK.Yeah, I'm not doing your research for you. Joel Klatt went over it on the Ticket 2-3 weeks ago. The ratings for these types of shows on both ESPN and FS1 are absolutely atrocious. There's a reason for that. That reason is that people with two brain cells to rub together are finally tired of being fed garbage like this after 15-20 years.

Stay with what sir? If you make a claim, support it. You said the ratings for Undisputed suck. I gave you a Forbes article from just 10 days ago that says otherwise. Lol. I'm a "links guy" just because I supported my claim. Gotcha."Link?" guy always cracks me up. Stay with it, because the pathetic ratings for shows like these depend on you and yours.

That makes my insides hurt.Even if the receiving team takes on the players contracts the original team is still responsible for the dead money portion of the contract left on their salary cap. Moving Romo this year leaves a huge dead money hit on our cap (i believe it was somewhere north of 15 million). That is money that isn't being used for any purpose but still takes up cap space available for us. So no it doesn't free us up to use that money on other free agents, and at that point we no longer have Romo but still have his dead money taking away valuable cap space.
