Not at 35 mil per year while losing Quinn, Jones, Collins, and plenty of others due to cap restraints.

Dallas has managed their cap instead of going out to FA and over spending which seem fans cry about each year. Dallas has the money to get several key players signed. They will also be able to restructure contracts to free up money something you can't do when you tag a player.

If by managing the cap you mean overpaying every significant F.A. they re-sign making them the highest paid players at their respective positions. I agree! The top 3 money positions are coming due.

If they truly wanted to, they could re-sign ALL those guys. Stephen May have his issues, but he knows how to navigate around the cap. The issue is Collins is NOT worth a lot money and Jones DEFINITELY isn’t worth Top CB money when he creates absolutely NO TURNOVERS!!!!! If those guys leave, it’s because the club chose to move on.

Dallas has stayed out of the FA market going out and getting players off other teams paying out big money instead have brought in mid level FA at good prices. Yes Dak will cost as well Cooper and you will likely see those contract restructured over the course of their contract much like Dallas has done with players like Romo, like Tyron Smith and likely with Lawrence and Zeke. Cowboys have ample cap space to work with ahead of Dak and Cooper contracts they should be able to manage their cap as the cap continues to rise

That's an exaggeration. The Cowboys might lose Quinn or Jones but not both and certainly not Collins. The cap situation in Dallas is one of the best in the league. They have plenty of capital to pay Dak and Amari and a few other veterans and still have some spending money. You are letting your lack of understanding of this situation get the best of you. Stop being so panicked about the cap space. Educate yourself so when you talk about something you don't sound so uninformed.

Makes sense. MM legacy is taking Gb deep into the playoffs year after year with 1 SB trophy all on the back of a sure HOF QB. He will need to do what no other coach in NFL history has done. It's more likely that Dak proves MM needed a HOF QB to be successful.

8-8 no playoffs with Quinn. I'd say he didn't make a difference.
Jones is a really good DB, he is not worth what he will be paid
Collins is under contract for 5 more years

Can't sign everyone. It just doesn't work.

so many people are about to get a rude wake up call.

When things don't go right I better not heart "MM this and that".

Brett Farve and Aaron Rodgers.

One Super Bowl appearance for MM.

Hmmmm.

I don’t buy it.

The cowboys re signing Dak will ruin the franchise for a decade and prevent the team from having any chance at success.

I need Xanax just thinking about Dak getting an extension.

Regardless of whether you think it'll work, it's an interesting point of view, especially from a former player of his.

Robert Quinn has quickly become overrated
And soon to become overpaid as well.

Jerry probably likes him personally so no other options will be looked at.

Quinn is a nice second rusher but should be playing on 1-2 year deals for less than 10M per at this point.

Let's see what Jerry gives him.

If we could only hire an intern to come up with a scheme to steal the other teams plays, we wouldn't need Quinn, Jones, Collins and plenty others.

I can see that point. Big Mc isn't getting a blank page rookie that he has a fill up before the season and not getting one of the guys about to leave the league than don't want to hear all the nonsense.

It's a process of elimination when you have so many players wanting to be one of the highest paid players it doesn't leave much money for putting the supporting cast together.

Between winning super bowls or being one of the highest paid in the league.....we have a few that's chosen the later which is killing the overall team.
