I am pretty certain Buchanon, Thomas and especially Ace Sanders get drafted. Michael Williams should, he looks like more of a complete tight end than he gets credit for. Everyone wants the next Gronkowski, but Williams is solid all the way around.

That tends to be how things work out for us anyways.

We have better luck with the UDFA class seemingly every year once it is all said and done. It just seems that we have choices we devote to coach pets in the later rounds and finally when the draft is over, the scouts input starts to matter.

A big part of it is just numbers. We have two picks in the 5th-7th rounds. Maybe we'll end up with 3. We'll sign what, a dozen or so UDFA? And the talent gap between the late rounds and UDFA is pretty slight. Plus, we can go after anyone we want, and the Dallas Cowboys name helps draw players who have a choice. So having more hits among the UDFAs than among the late-rounders doesn't really surprise me.
