Undrafted FA's to Watch

Stephen Jones and Mike McCarthy seem to be competing to see who has the biggest pot belly. Right about now, I'd say it's a tie!

About the possibility of any UDFA's to make the roster.
Coyle would be one to watch if he shows anything...with his speed he covers a lot of ground, so we will see..... I think Smith is a candidate for PS, he has a lot to learn. Brenan eagles might be a good one to watch with his size, perhaps a candidate for a pass catching TE/WR hybrid. same with Vasher, although he is on the light size, but 6'5"........I also like RB, Hardy and his size....perhaps a power running back for the 3rd RB spot....

but the best candidate to make the roster might be Coyle....specially that saftey spot is weak. perhaps replace Thompson.

we have a rich history with the un-drafteds.
brennan eagles,wr
brandon smith,wr
anthony hines,lb
tyler coyle,s
those are some names worth watching.

I'm hoping Austin Faoliu makes the team. He has a good motor and the DL needs all the help they can get.

I recall a profile that I read a while back that said Tyler Coyle is regarded as being hesitant making tackles. The Cowboys have a long history of going for some players with impressive measurables, rather than great football qualities. I'm, actually, hoping that Coyle's profile was made in error. A lack of aggression would be far from an ideal tendency for a safety. We'll soon see about that.

I would keep an eye on the TE Eubanks from Michigan and the other TE from TCU(?).

If any of the WRs show potential starter talent, then I think Cedric Wilson and/or Noah Brown will be out of a job.

I think brown is on the.bubble. he is what he is a.blocking WR that can play special teams with no upside after 4 years.

Fehomo is vying for his spot probably and that would make 5 WRs....including Wilson whom I think will make the team...I am not sure if we go 6 on WR and probably go long on defense and OL.

From what I could tell, Hardy doesn't run like a power back. He does a lot of dancing and juking. I thought he was a scatback when watching clips of him, then saw he weighs in the 220s.

Tyler Coyle of Purdue, 6-0, 209. Nice size for a safety, and sure appears to have good range. ...A graduate transfer from UConn to Purdue, Coyle unfortunately played a shortened Big 10 season. But his 4.36 Pro Day 40 sure caught the Cowboys' eyes, and his best chance to make the 53-man roster will be with special teams skills.

Safety with size and range. Me likey. Special teams could get him on the 53. We have very little at FS.
