Grier has been in the league since 2019. In that time, he's been cut by Carolina, he's been cut by us, he's been cut by Cincinnati, he's been cut by New England, he's been cut by the Chargers and he's been cut by Philly.

He has enough talent to keep bouncing around the league, but no one wants him as a backup because the numbers show you don't want him on the field. In real NFL action, he has completed 53 percent of his passes with 0 TDs, 4 ints. and a 33.2 rating. Those are really bad numbers.

If you want to get excited about a performance in a meaningless exhibition game, go ahead, but Grier is the type of QB you have on the roster simply because you don't have anyone better to replace him.

They like him and he is one of their 3 qbs. He isn't going to be beat out by an undrafted qb. They want him to be on the team and Milton will be on the team too.

They like him and he is one of their 3 qbs. He isn't going to be beat out by an undrafted qb. They want him to be on the team and Milton will be on the team too.

He is one of their three qbs. I'll give you that. I don't think they wanted to have two developmental QBs on the roster, which is why they didn't draft one after picking up Milton. As far as whether they want Grier on the team, we'll see. I think they will put him on the practice squad and bring him up as the third QB. If Milton doesn't look like he can be the No. 2 QB, I think they will shop for someone who can because Grier has shown that he's not it.

The incident occurred after Holden caught a pass, and video replay showed him spitting into the face mask of Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun. The unsportsmanlike conduct penalty led to a field goal for Oregon, giving them a 15-14 lead. The Ducks ultimately won the game 32-31.

And he was accused for doing the same thing vs Boise St. but could not be proven.
