Unfortunate Silver Lining

We should get a better draft pick than we have had in a few years.

Soon the Cowboys.Com draft show will start.

So I think it is fair that we should get a top 15 pick at worst.

We have to play philly and washington twice and we would be lucky to win one of those games.

this has always helped.

i mean if you cant cure or notice the real problem, look for other issues that cant fix your problem.

if we had number 1 picks at every position, we would still suck. but you know, better draft pick always solves a teams problems.

look at the teams that pick high every year, they turn it right around.

Two wins left on the schedule. Panthers and Giants, both which could be loses if Dak is out a few weeks.

At best this team is 5-12.

The bad news in all of this...it doesn't matter where they draft in the upcoming draft. This team is going to need at least good five years to turn the roster over...minimum. IMO, theyre more than 4-5 guys away from being relevant. Especially seeing how cheap they are when it comes to signing 'established/above average' FA's. And I'd like to think that I'm a glass half full kind of guy. :banghead:

This team is an absolute lock to pick in the top 10 lol
It really is. We can't win games when we can't stop the run, can't run, can't stop the pass, can't pass over 5 yds, can't intercept the ball, can't catch the ball, can't line up, can't tackle etc.

And we weren't going those things even with our starters!

I thought 8 and 9 before season, now think 5-12 and 9th draft pick.

JJ don't need no high draft pick, his focus is picking up war daddy's and glory holes.

Watch Jerry draft a RB or TE in the 1st
To play Devil's Advocate, absolutely no one fears our running game. They all can tee off on our passing game, and we are utterly one-dimensional.

However big a Jeanty fan I am, without a far better o-line, I'm not sure Jeanty can be the difference. If he's there when we pick (likely), we MUST find someone who can open holes. Steele is porous, Martin (forgive me for saying this) has just been beaten by Father Time, and Guyton...who the hell knows what his deal is.
