Cee Dee struggles with making contested catches, the hallmark of being an “88”.
I feel differently. He makes amazingly difficult catches but lacks concentration on the routine catches.

After dropped a wide open TD last week, the worst thing Lamb could do today is drop another pass. Well, he did. So now the criticism amps up. And it will only get louder and louder until he stops the drops.

Michael Irvin needs to give him a visit this week and remind him of the legend of 88.

Sure it happened to Irvin, in between his 150 yard performances. The context there is crucial. CeeDee has a big drop and the rest of the game he’s got 50 yards.
In a game where the team threw for barely 100 yards? That’s more than half of the production through the air.

In the context of this game script he played just fine

Yall are gonna complain about this every week, arent you?

Receivers drop passes in the NFL. It happens, plain and simple
He ain't it bro. You gotta stop lol. Ain't no way I'd sign him to some huge deal. He better take below market value and be happy

I like Lamb. I think he's a good WR. Just not currently at top market value for a WR. Not a chance right now. No way should the Cowboys pay him AJ Brown money.

No reason for Diggs to be doing push ups for "drops"(not getting the pick) but not the wrs for drops.

At this point they need to be doing them on the field as soon as it happens, televised and all.

These drops are way too frequent.

I’m ok with Cee Dee getting the number 88, but next time, you’ve got to audition to get that number.

I can’t see Lamb getting AJ Brown money on the other hand after drafting and developing him it would be hard to see him catch passes score TD’s on say a 49ers or Rams team . I think this is position coach number 3 he’s had in a short career in Dallas .

Tony Pollard falls into this young offensive talent you hate to see leave especially since you have an expensive QB coming off broken ankle and thumb injuries you want to surround him with experienced options not turn it over to unproven rookies next season and start over .

I really love the tenacity and drive and heart the DLaws and Zekes bring to the table but there on the other side of the career spectrum from the Lambs and Pollards of this roster. Have to get creative with veteran salaries and rework deals in order to keep 88 and 20 around . One thing is certain the TE position needs to get less expensive next yr with Ferguson and Hendershot taking over .

Once again people look but do not see.

It was a solid defensive play knocking the ball out of Cee Dee's hands.
What about catch & tuck.....something a professional WR has ingrained in him on Day 1.....and at the major college level.

The drops are bothering me, not giving up on him but to be elite this can't happen!! GALLUP had one too! I think the coach on the sideline said something to them while they were trying to catch it which took their focus off the ball

Gallup was out for most of last year. I'll give him a bit of a break due to that, but only until he's been back for several games and/or has a good number of passes thrown his way....

Rush is putting the ball right in their hands and those guys aren't used to that. They are used to having to make circus catches. Now it looks so easy they are looking to run with the ball before it gets there.

These drops are way too frequent.

Per the NFL site, CeeDee has dropped about 9% of catchable passes. Jamaar Chase has dropped about 10% of those. So other "top" receivers have similar drops.

On the other hand, Cooper Kupp has only dropped about 3.7%, Tyreek Hill has only dropped 5%. So clearly, he needs to do, and it's possible to do, better....
