Uniform colors: Saints vs Cowboys

The New Orleans Saints will wear white jerseys and gold pants against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints have worn white jerseys in two of their previous regular season games this season (at Cardinals and vs Buccaneers).
The Cowboys will wear navy jerseys and silver pants.

Uh, home teams generally wear white in baseball, basketball, soccer, etc. Football is the exception, not the rule.

He was Dallas became America's team, we outsell all others and currently the richest sports franchise in the world. Tex played a role in all that.

I think part of it was white doesn't absorb as much heat too. So the other teams were made to wear dark colors, as well as sit in the sunny side of the stadium, keeping the Cowboys in the shade.
The seeing different colors was probably just publicity. But everyone knew it was the heat factor more. Well, that makes more sense to me, so I will go with that...

Actually, I know dang near everything about him, but not sure why he was given so much credit for this in particular when entire other leagues did the same thing.
