Uniform question

I noticed Romo was wearing a slightly different version of the "normal" throwbacks we usually wear. The difference is that there is no star on the shoulder pads.
pic here..

is that just a practice jersey, or are we actually wearing that one? I'm not an expert on the different jerseys, so this might come across as a dumb question.



ps: i like these jerseys better than the normal throwbacks.

It's a great jersey, but it is their TC/practice jersey...

A couple of years back on KTCK, a caller asked if they would ever wear those in a game and Jerry said no...

I think this jersey is one of the best alternate jerseys ever put together...

Yeah that's just a practice jersey. I'm not superstitious or anything but the Cowboys don't seem to play well or win big games when they wear those throwback uniforms. The crazy loss to the Commanders in '05 and the loss to the Eagles at Christmas last year for the division basically, now this one for the lead of the conference, hopefully it will be different this time. Kind of like a reverse the curse kind of thing. Heck their 2-0 in their road blues this year, it's been awhile since that happen.

Really? Cool. I'd like that.

And it would be awesome if we could wear the white version... But I'm pretty skeptical. We've never worn those. (Except for 1994, which was a different uni altogether.)

Those practice jersey's are pretty sweet. We should wear them as the throwbacks.
