Not sure where to start.......I didn't think we would win the game. The trash talk coupled with the weather was a recipe for disaster. This was the type of game I am used to being let down. Even though it was not at the end of the season, was almost a must win type of game.

After days went by and I watched the heavy gamblers movement, I swung to the side of a good chance at victory but still wasn't convinced. I could not see our team roll into NY in cold and windy weather conditions and pull it off with the injuries we have, not to mention a questionable offense.

If we had to lose, was kind of hoping to get whooped so Jerry would be forced to face the criticism. But alas, we won and I am ecstatic. To me, we are now past the point of teetering on the side of destruction or division winners. Time to go full steam ahead and lets do this...............no excuses as to why we can't win three more and seal this thing up.

Defense

They played their hearts out. Even facing their own challenges, they rose to the occasion. Sure, the run game wasn't all that good but they never broke. I am thankful for the wind too, helped our team and maybe some gained "false" confidence. My hats off to Orlando, Carr and Hatcher especially. Ware, where art thou?

Morris.....he looked out of position often but also contested some plays. I am not down on him as some but the man needs some extra cheeseburgers, gain some weight man so you can do what you do best.....press coverage.

Carter....the book is still open on him. Plays great at times and plays stupid at times, not sure what to make of him yet.

Heath...just going to skip this one.

Offense

They showed more variation and I loved the screens. Murray and Dunbar pretty much had their way yet the run game disappeared at times. Still a lack of consistency there. In that wind, run all day, they could not stop us. Of course, the same applies to NY, we could not stop them.

I am not positive, but I swear Garrett took over play-calling later in the second half. The last drive was excellent, we played not to lose and it paid off. Hopefully, they slowly integrated the "new" offense and it will only get better from here on out. Was nice to see Dez being moved around some but buy that man some stick-um. Oh, and you don't have to try and score every play, it is ok to fall down if more than one defender on you.

Miles........I am proud of him since he managed to escape the game with hamstrings intact, kudos. But really, enjoy your last season in Dallas.

Romo.....way to sack it up and go win the game. I don't care what happened the previous 55 minutes but you delivered. It was tough conditions today and I thought he played well enough all game. Add one more comeback to your stats :)

Garrett....I am still not a fan and never was. I want a new head coach, anyone. With that said, he is at the last wrung on my ladder but after today, he climbed back up one step. He showed me that he is capable of implementation and that is a start. Just keep doing that and maybe he can reach the middle at some point.

It is too late for me to wish destruction in hopes of getting a new coach. Now, lets get some players back, hang on win this darn division. I want a home playoff game where anything can happen. Go out and beat Oakland and lets do this!

I agree with pretty much everything. I don't think the giants are any good. I don't get too high after wins or too low after losses. I'm still skeptical. If we whip Oakland on thanksgiving and were 7-5 going to Chicago, I'll feel much better.

Agree, the Giants are a bad football team. But, we went in there under harsh conditions and won. You can bet they gave it everything they had and it was a good win especially being a division rival. I am not sure Dallas wins this game if it were a week ago. They did what they had to do.

Potentially, I see one more loss on the schedule at Chicago. I think we can beat GB w/wo AR since it is at home. It would be sweet to win the division by week 17 and rest our starters.

In my opinion, this has been the most impressive win all year. We beat a Giants team who's been on a 4 game winning streak and had a chance to tie us after starting the season 0-6. A loss would have breathed new life into the Giants and would have given Philly the edge in the division. The entire media picked NY to win and the Giants players were talking up a storm.

We come in with a gimpy defense and do something we haven't been able to do for as long as I can remember--shut down Eli Manning. Sure, they ran all over us, but you beat teams with the pass in today's NFL. We were great in the red zone on offense and defense. Neither the defense nor offense were perfect, but they both stepped up when they needed to. And we saw Romo and Dez step up when it mattered the most. Plus, Bailey has ice in his veins.

This game, for the first time all season, made me think we could actually have a shot this season.

Just stay healthy, get some bodies back and continue to improve on offense and you never know...........................If we continue to trend upward and not lay an egg on Thursday, I think we can beat any team come playoff time except in Seattle or NO. Hoping someone knocks them out earlier.

What am I saying????? Has the water gotten to me?? Someone from the Cowboys hooked me with a #4 treble!

After that Saints loss, I just don't see how we could even stand a chance against the Saints. I'm more worried about them than the Seahawks. I'm not so worried about Carolina, San Fran or whoever wins the North.

I've seen some embarrasing things done to/by the Cowboys this year, but neither Carter nor Heath bothering to touch Myers after he caught the pass allowing him to get up and waltz into the end zone was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

People can say the Giants are a bad team but I didn't hear anyone saying that prior to this game. As a matter of fact, I was told we couldn't run on them because they shut down AP. They were a win today from having the same record as us.....a average .500 record.

We had many doubt Dallas going into NY and actually pull out a win. It wasn't a pretty win, but I'll take it given all the circumstances. Our team found a way to go out and win. The last drive could've very well saved our season. Everyone rose to the occasion and I couldn't be prouder.

Completely agree. I still don't think that this team is very good at all, but this was one of the gutsiest wins I have ever seen.

I mean, look at that last drive. In a very un-Cowboys like fashion, they converted three 3rd downs in a row. The first was almost a miracle play to Dez because it seemed like Romo threw it up for grabs, the second put them into field goal range where we all started talking about hoping the defense could hold the Giants, and the last one took the game out of the Giants hands.

I know Romo has made huge drives before and epic 4th quarter drives, but that was one of the greatest he's ever had.
