When they are good, they are just fantastic.

Michael Irvin
Andre Johnson
Reggie Wayne

You guys know me and my stupid pedigree fixations. I am getting there on Miami WRs. Not all of them fit this category, but even some like Brett Perriman, Devin Hester, and Santana Moss are strong contributors.

No, this does not mean I suddenly want Roscoe Parrish.

No but Aldarius Johnson would be nice in a few years.

Dude will be a player.

Travis Benjamin..

And another one behind them named Tommy Streeter..

Not that the Cowboys have a need for receivers, BUT we haven't drafted a Hurricane since 1993, if I remember correctly, and like Michael says: " we haven't won since then either ". The Cowboys are going to need to start looking at the U closer this upcoming years because they are LOADED with talent. And I'm not talking about just WRs. I'm talking LBs, DBs, D-linemen and even a couple of O-liemen that should become great prospects.

OH, and no, I'm not a Hurricane fan. I'm actually a Nebraska fan, but looking at the talent down here, I can't help but be impressed.

BTW, despite their loss this weekend I am impressed with Randy Shannon.

Sorry to go off topic.

he didn't take it from him either they wanted to develop him as a WR and they wanted to integrate him into the offense that's why took him off special teams.

Not really. He wasn't designated any position per say. He started out as a safety, then played a little RB, then a little CB, then a little WR.. Problem with him was that he had a reputation for not being a bright guy when it came to learning a playbook, but he was such an outstanding talent that they put him where ever they needed him.

2006,2007 he made the pro bowl and was all pro. So when did he lose his effectiveness? Last year was when they stopped him from returning kicks.....

You prob right about that I thought they stopped him during the off season from returning kicks. But hester is still a good WR and turning into a pretty reliable one.

As a recruiter ? No doubt. As a headcoach ? We'll see..

as an X's and O's guy ? Not in a million years. He's actually horrible at designing schemes.

Now, as a recruiter ? Wow.. One of the best. And his calm demeanor and class makes him a very good HC prospect. Just don't let him start game planning.

Univ of SC does ok but they are a place to watch for WRs. They are currently loaded. But UM has had some great ones.

Gimmie Benjamin!!!!!!!

Out of those three, the two with the biggest upside are Hankerson and Byrd.

Hankerson is in the mold of Andre Johnson while Byrd looks like an exact replica of Wayne.

Wow, tell me about it. That game is the epitome of why I enjoy football. And it was even better being that I know many of those guys personally.

But that 4th quarter is what I wish so badly the Cowboys could do.

Iowa simply took control of the game and took the life out of that team and stadium with physicality. Not to mention that team is mentally tough as nails.

I really hope our defense can mirror that type of performance and take control of games in the 4th quarter. And for the record I fully believe our defense will rebound and become what we all think it can be here down the road.
