Sure Jerry doesnt play the game, BUT his years of unwillingness to truly go all in for a super bowl. This team had to make upgrades at the deadline and stood pat. His inability to step back and hire a good football coach that isn’t just a puppet. His overvaluing of current roster/players by paying under-performers Steele and Gallup to name a few. The one common thread of going on of 30 years of futility has been Jerry.
Well hell, you should take your ball and go home then!

No coach, QB, or player combo has been able to overcome Jerry and the FO for nearly 30 years.

It is what it is. They switch coaches and qbs out and we'll be complaining how they aren't 'getting it done' either.

After losing to the eagles, NOW the FO wants to try to make a move when we were screaming for them to make one before the trade deadline but they were telling us 'we like our guys'.

If we play the 49ers again, I feel like they will thrash us yet again and I don't know if we even beat the Commanders.

We can try to blame the coaches, but who hired the coaches? What process was used to hire the coaches? We hired McCarthy because he had a sleepover at Jerry's and Jerry just likes him. Jerry will never bring in a disciplinarian coach who doesn't let him fiddle around with the team... and hence we have the same losing formula over and over and over again. We won't go 'all-in' because I'm sure 'consistent income' is better than having great income from a year and then down income after having to rebuild, so they'd much rather have a team that's middling to fairly good but never championship level than a team that is a champion for a year or two and then has to rebuild.

When watching the Cowboys, the 2nd round is our superbowl, so if you watch with that in mind, you'll be a lot less stressed out.

Exactly. This is a classic Jerry loss. We look good enough to have some hope, but always fall short. This keeps people around to buy into the hype and spend money.

As I’ve stated many times. Only a true franchise QB can overcome JJ’s country club organization.

JJ IS going to die with 3 SB trophy's that Jimmy Johnson earned for him and personally I'm good with that since he has pretty much ran this club into the ground for the past 3 decades with his clueless football knowledge. It's already a proven fact that to get to the SB you need a great coach and a GM who will help his club anyway he can, at anytime during the season and since the Cowboys have had neither of those since Jimmy, need I say more.............and for those who are going to say that Jimmy wasn't here when the Boys earned their last SB championship, I would have to argue that he was in spirit because it was the men he had in place that won that SB and that it was those same men who told Barry Switzer to keep his mouth shut, stay out of the way and they would make him a SB Champion and the rest was history.................LOL!
