Unlock a SIM card

Anyone know where I can find codes to unlock a SIM card? The prices people charge for this are crazy!

Phone is a LG Xenon through T-Mobile

It's my experience that you unlock the phone, not the card. You unlock the phone and you can use whatever sim you like.
