Check out Roy's stat line other than the INT- ZERO tackles and ZERO assists. Anyone know if he has ever been shut out in a game before?

Woah, They must have kept him back deep. They did say Cover 2, which moves the safeties way back.

Panthers wideouts are no slouches, so this stat doesn't surprise me. Roy was in coverage for most of the game, and our front 7 was able to shut down their running attack. Roy wasn't needed in run support.

The defensive gameplan in this ballgame was brilliant. We were baiting the Panthers to run the ball, and they couldn't do it.

If you win the game by 21 points and your strong safety has no tackles, it's a sign that the defensive line, linebackers and cornerbacks did their job well.

Three picks this year, I hope Newman duplicates his rookie performance against Washington where he had three picks and surpasses Roy as the team leader in interceptions.

Didn't see much from Davis either.

Roy did the same thing last year against Carolina. On defense, he had a fourth-quarter interception but no solo tackles and no assists. He did have one special-teams tackle in last year's game, though.

Usually when your CB has a lot of tackles it's a bad sign, because it means he's getting beat a lot. That's really not the case with Henry though. He's just extremely quick to react to a short completion and make the tackle, and very consistent about it.

I would bet that he leads the team in tackles on 3rd down short of the stick. He made another one of those on Smith last night, and that's one of the hardest guys in the league to hold short of the first down. When you're blanketing the receivers downfield, and consistently keeping the short stuff short of the first down marker, it makes it kinda frustrating for an offense.

It's hard to match up against us if you don't have some big, physical WR's or a very good TE.

If he doesn't make a tackle in the running game I am fine. I just want him to keep killing receivers. Oh and getting picks at crucial times in the game.
