Since Romo became the starter in 2006, there have been 49 games in the regular season in which the Cowboys have rushed for 100+ yards and held the opponent under 28 points. Dallas is 45-4 in those games. Here are the four losses:

2006 at Was 19-22
2009 vs SD 17-20
2010 at Was 7-13
2014 vs Was 17-20

In those 49 games, the Cowboys have failed to score at least 20 points only 8 times. Here are those 8 games:

2006 at Was L 19-22
2008 at Was W 14-10
2009 vs Was W 7-6
2009 at Was W 17-0
2009 vs SD L 17-20
2010 at Was L 7-13

To clarify, games without Romo were not included in your numbers.

Truly amazing stat. Like the sports networks should be running segments on these stats. And Linehan has to find a way to change them. Romo went brain dead in some parts of the game yesterday. On at least one of those all out blitzes, Witten adjusted and was wide open and Romo just stared at the rush and ate the ball. Don't know what was up with him.

Interesting stat.

Another thing is, whether we win or not , Romo always get beat up playing against the Skins for some reason.

Seems like the Skins continually play us harder than any other team on their schedule every year. Odd stats indeed, but not surprising either.

No one wants to talk about the fumbles last night because they happened in the 1st half, but if we play a mistake free first half we go in 14 or 17-0 and the game is never in doubt.

They play us like it's their Super Bowl and we look at them as the lowly Commanders. Cowboys should know better.
