  1. Revamp the offensive line- a work in progress. Like what I see so far but still need more talent a guard position
  2. End the Jay Ratliff experiment-Get a true nose tackle and stop the run and make teams one dimensional(not sure about that though with our secondary
  3. Both ILB's need to go age and ability not there. like what James has done but his time is up after this year. Future is Lee and Carter younger, faster and more athletic just need experience
  4. Need more size at the corner position and more talent. Scandrick and Jenkins are the future but still need 3 to 4 solid corners. Thomas has potential but will see.Butler ? Ball gone next year
  5. Need a playmaker at safety. Sensi and Elam stop gaps. Church speed is a concern long term AOA (don't see it yet) McCray-Specials teams ace
  6. Need another(young) 3-4 DE with pass rush skills for interior rush. Should have signed Bowen before lockout(probably would have got him at a cheaper price.
  7. Pass rusher opposite Ware. Spencer(do or die)
  8. Be accountable across the board
  9. Get younger
  10. GM must make better football decisions. Period

1) We have plenty of talent at the guard position. Just not much talent that has experience.

2) Are you serious? Easily top-5 NT in the game. It's not an experiment. It's been proven week in and week out for years now. Get over it. A team does not need a fat disgusting slob clogging up the middle to be effective.

3) Bradie James has 2-3 more good years in him. Brooking (hopefully) will not be a starter for us this year. I want Lee starting, with Carter starting next year or the year after for James.

4) Agreed.

5) Sensabaugh is underrated, and Abe Elam is absolutely invaluable to this defense right now. Church is working on his speed and I agree about AOA not panning out so far. Think we should put him back at CB.

6) I agree with another pass-rushing DE, but you have to have run-stoppers too. To find both in one person would be like hitting a gold mine. Good luck. And Bowen wouldn't have been any cheaper before the lockout, as well as would've had no incentive to sign.

7, 8, 9) Agreed.

10) Somewhat agree. The good and the bad have not all been 100% Jerry. It goes both ways. He should receive the same amount of blame as he does credit and vice versa.

But there so fun to look at especially when they go to the bathroom all over themselves hahahahahahahaha

Item (3) -- replacing the ILBs isn't critical. In 3-4 defenses the ILB position is probably the least imortant -- you can't have complete stiffs, but you don't need superstar either.

The trend in recent years is to pull one of the 3-4 ILBs on passing downs. Heck the Packers base defense is essentially a 3-2-5.

With today's trend towards passing oriented offenses, we are fine with our 4 guys (Brookings, James, Lee, Carter) at this position.

I agree with moving Ratliff to end and getting a real 3-4 NT in the middle. That would instantly improve this defense. You'd still have Ratliff's ability to collapse the pocket but you'd have a more stout interior that isn't so easy to wear down.

If we are to keep the Rat at NT then we must spell him more. Give him more rest in the game.

When you are constantly giving up 25lbs or so to whoever is blocking on you, it WILL wear you down.

Agree. I just want when teams come out in 21 and 22 personell, I want to see J rat at the end in the base 3-4. In the nickel or dime defenses you can move him anywhere you want

How many Super Bowls have a 285 pound nose tackle been in. NE,Pit,GB all have won Super Bowls. All have had true nose tackles. I'm not singling out Rat,he is a great player but needs to let young guys take the double and not get moved off the ball

No doubt Brent gets some snaps this year for Rat.

In fact, those three teams all have somewhat prototypical 3-4 NTs -- Woolfork (NE), Casey Hampton (Steelers), and BJ Raji (Packers).

The difference with them is they are all huge guys, however, they aren't just slugs -- they are disruptive because they are good athletes.
