Up and coming schedule

Last week I was discussing the Cowboys will my Son and one point I made was to expect at some point in the season for fans to be calling for the firing of Schotty and Parker after a terrible display. I thought we would lose to the Giants but would put in a good performance. I was half right. Looking ahead to the up and coming games:

Week 2 Washington. I would have preferred if they had beaten the Eagles, this looks extremely difficult, but the line of Cowboys +3.5 looks about right. I expect a narrow win.

Week 3 Baltimore (Brazil). They looked impressive in Week 3. Henry has to be stopped. I'm not confident

Week 4 Houston. Another horrible looking game with the rivalry aspect as well.

I think we will be either 1-3 or 2-2 at best.

The schedule does 'settle down' a little after that.

Ravens will run up the score on us. Classic we beat Washington next week and everyone starts pretending like everything is ok.

IF I look at it from a purely surface level perspective I see a few physical teams upcoming. So hopefully the physicality of this Cowboys team will soon show up. Because it definitely was non-existent in the Giants game.

In the offseason they preached how they were gonna be this more physical team.
Im just not seeing it.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Commanders game upcoming then Baltimore and the Texans. 1-3 very likely but never know. With this high school defense and coaching staff I lean to 1-3.

Dart's runs were super effective. Daniels's runs will result in TDs. Washington will control the ball for 35+ minutes and win a 23-20 type game.

Hate to be the same guy I always crap on for saying this but Washington is a must win game.

You just can’t start out not only 0-2 but 0-2 within the division then go play Houston/Baltimore back to back. Starting the year 1-3 drops your playoff odds to around 15% historically.

Folks calling for Schotty, and Christian Parker to be fired. Calls for trading Pickens before the trade deadline in hopes of landing multiple picks (praying for a 1st in 2027 or 2028 and a 2nd in either year).

Week two is usually interesting because people generally figure every team is going to repeat whatever they did in week one.

Watch the Dallas defense look pretty good this Sunday. Typical NFL.

I had Dallas with home wins against Wash & TB and Baltimore Houston looking like L’s then going back to back road games Eagles Packers , folks this could resemble last seasons struggle to get to .500 in week 18 .
