I like the overall value here but hate we don't grab a safety.

We really need to draft a safety.

Yeah I was looking at Safety there a some I like however there's more pressing need else where. Also the one safety I really like (Sherrod Martin) is getting moved to CB.

That's crazy considering how high his YPC is.

Like I said....it was one game.

You have to remember, he played in a weak conference. He should have dominating numbers.

I didn't see anything special in the game I watched.

I definitely think we need to go safety with our first pick. The best choice I have seen so far is from the mock at www.draftzoo.com. They gave us Patrick Chung and I think he fits well. I think that Rashad Johnson will be gone, and probably Louis Delmas too. William Moore will just be another Roy WIlliams. We could use someone like Chung who has the speed and coverage ability to stay deep for once

Does anyone know what it will take for the Cowboys to move up 10-15 spots to pick 34-40?? I'm doing a mock draft and was just wondering what picks we would realistically have to get up to get Sean Smith

He did have dominating numbers. One game surely doesn't justify a career of success even with a weak conferencing his metrics is enough to make you go crazy over at. Well not you per say however, I want him to be a cowboy.

I don't think Safety is the biggest need. As long as they can stay healthy. Getting better along the front 7 will go a long way to improving our secondary. If the D Line makes plays against the Ravens we're in the playoffs. However, it was left in the hands of Hamlin. So I think Improve the front 7 the secondary will improve. Generate a more consistent pass rush from someone other than Ware and get LB'rs who can coverage and stay healthy.

I think it would cost a fifth someone posted the value charts a couple of weeks ago. Sean Smith is definitely an interesting prospect however, Like I said in the above response. Improving the DLine comes first IMHO. If we can do that it won't matter who's in the secondary.
