Anybody have an update on Miles. I cant seem to find anything..

He's glass I'm sure we can count him out next week, not that it matters

I'm sure he and Demarco will be sitting together on the bench.

Man they are soooo fragile.;)

He has been relatively invisible, that's where he has been. He also quits on routes and fumbles the ball a lot too..

I wouldn't go that far.. Miles has had his share of big plays this season, could be better. Made a big catch against Cleveland on the drive that tied the game. He also has 1 fumble, could have been 2 against Cleveland but the ball was sliding when he was exchanging hands & he came right back the next play and made a huge catch keeping the ball from touching the turf.. Miles & Dez are both top 10 in the NFC in receiving yards & top 15 in receptions, so I really don't get how he has been invisable

Three career fumbles on receptions. Facts are important.

Miles, Demarco and Sean Lee should start a band called the glass factory.

Lee is getting close he had an injury history at Penn St and arrived in Dallas injured. He missed some games his rookie year. He missed one game last season and will miss 10 games this season. Felix is part of that group and Bruce Carter could end up a member at some point.

pulled his hammy getting off the crapper...

I say cut miles at the end of the season! Beasley and Harris plays with more passion than miles does! Plus miles is always injured! We need tough players not sissys!

I don't think it is that he is a sissy. if you have a strained muscle you can't run fast and cut hard no matter how much you try. Usually trying to do so will only aggravate the muscle further.

I don't know what the salary structure of his contract is or how much he will be paid next year according to current terms. If it is anything over about $4.5M we definitely need to move on and find a new #2 WR. He just wouldn't be worth the money at that price point anymore. You can't rely on him to be able to play anymore. This will be the 4th time in 2 years he has missed a game due to a leg muscle strain.

I actually kind of hope he misses a few games because I'd like to see what Harris and Beasley can do.

Ok maybe not a sissy but he gets injured way too often! And way to easily too!

Miles Austin: $6,732,000 - source

The whole draft a first round talent who falls in the draft due to injury concerns philsophy is turning out to be a pretty unsound business model. Granted, Austin was an undrafted free agent, but Sean Lee, Brruce Carter, Felix Jones and DeMarco Murray certainly fit this bill.
