Well... went to the doctor today, and my fistula is not working. The doctor said it must have clotted. So, therefore, this surgery was a complete failure. He also told me to tell the transplant team in Dallas that I am not a good prospect for dialysis, so we need to get me a kidney ASAP. Hahahah... that would be nice!

StarKist... where are you... I need another laugh!

I am actually feeling alot better than yesterday. I am a very positive person, and have been positive throughout this whole ordeal. Yesterday was just a horrible day for me. But, I think I am over it and almost back to my cheery self. Being depressed about it isn't gonna help anything. Right? Right

Your going to make it through this and your going to be just fine. In fact you WILL be better than before.

This thread sort of reminds me of a friend of mine that was past her delivery date. I started telling her the worst and most corny jokes I could think of (I used the CBZ40 joke book as a reference ) and the next day she went in too labor.

LOL! Hey maybe if everyone started throwing in really corny jokes it would be good karma and I would for sure be accepted next week and I am sure I will get a new kidney lickety split!

You know, I am pretty lucky tho.... I have 8 people who want to be tested to see if they are a match.... I KNOW 3 have the same blood type (no guarantees with that, but it is a step in the right direction!), and I have 1 that is a 1st cousin. Sooooo.... things could be worse.
