Updated Big Board 2/7

Pick 10
- Farley
- Parsons
- Slater
- Chase
- Ojulari

Trade Down (15-20 range)
- Surtain
- Darrisaw
- Collins
- Rousseau
- Horn

I think Ojulari has to be in the conversation at 10 now. If the team was interesting in taking Chassion, Ojulari is the better prospect at the same junction. Actually was going to do a post on my Edge Rankings today, Ojulari will be on the top spot. Another trade down option that nobody is talking about is Vera-Tucker the G/T. I'm not convinced either of the Connor's are the answer at Guard. Tucker also has the positional flex to spot star at Tackle if need be.

Theres some risk to Rousseau, but the upside is off the charts for someone so young.

JOK is a project without a natural position so I don’t like him in the first. Barmore is too inconsistent for me.

You could talk me into Bolton and Moehrig depending on how far we trade back.

In a trade down, I'm ok with taking JOK, the extra pick could help us add more beef up front to protect him more. Kind of like Nasirildeen later on, in a similar nickel/dime type of role.

How people can watch a game like yesterday and still want to take a CB at 10 is beyond me

Absolutely HATE the options at 10

trade down or bust

if I absolutely have to pick one of those at 10 I’m taking Slater by a mile

Slater might not even make it to 10, he is definitely in the mix for the Cowboys as he can play all 5 OL spots. Many think he can be a quality LT, but special interior player similar to Zach Martin.

Ojulari is very interesting especially considering Quinns past uses of players like him. Quinn has shown in Seattle and Atlanta that he likes to attack from wide gaps. Much better prospect than Irvin or Takk were. Probably par with Beasley physically, but with a much better approach

I wonder how Quinn is going to fill the Strong-side OLB position. Think Gregory is our Leo for sure.

if we can find another late round steal like we did with Wilson, our safety...that would help.

I"ll never understand the infatuation with Chaisson in the top 20 last year but that's a whole different discussion. Ojulari is a much better prospect IMO. Hoping we do our homework on him.

Chaisson was a total upside pick, due to him playing well in the college playoffs, sounds firmilair with Barmore? Both were 20 year old prospects that struggled with consistency but flashed at big spots.

Ojurlari also plays at a value position just like corner and left tackle. These are the positions that cost a lot of money in this league, where the team will be looking for quality players at controllable, affordable rates. Team just has Tank/Gregory under contract, where Gregory is set to become unrestricted next year, Ojulari will most definitely be in the conversation at pick #10.

I think the difference is that they had no idea about RE last year. Now Randy Gregory is back and is now part of the new testing rules that should allow him to have a career.

Ojulari could fit the Bruce Irvin type role at OLB if Quinn wanted to go that route.

I agree I just don’t think you can take that kind of layer in the top 20. If so glad we picked Lamb, and based off short sample size we made the right pick.

Gregory is back, but I’m still not ready to count on him.

It is a list to say the list. Like Nixon or Barmore at DT in the 1st but not at #10. The 18th to 24th spot would seem to be more likely. Maybe a trade with Miami and pick up an extra 2nd round something like #10 for #18 and #36, seems like Miami would like to come away with Parsons LB and D. Smith WR and probably would need two top ten picks to pull it off.

THIS is the kind of draft where you see guys overdrafted in EVERY round.

I suggested swapping #10 with Bears for #’s 20, 52 and 83 so they can get Zack Wilson.

Taking an OL at 10 would just anger me. I get why it might make sense from a value perspective but geezus freaking heck, can we only get a good OL by throwing first round picks at OL?

I agree. I mean if Sewell drops to us at 10 it’s a no brainer. Otherwise I’m taking either Farley or Surtain or trading back if possible and taking the best defensive player on the board.

Slater would be a great pick at 10...assuming he's there.

There is no defensive player I feel is worthy of that pick. If we trade down, then yeah.....but I'm not going to pass on a great talent at 10, to pick a player whose value is in the 20s at pick ten.

There is a lot of value in rounds two and three for defense. A player we can get at pick 44 is not that much worse in talent this year than a player we would force at 10.

Surtain is going in the top 10
It's funny you think he would be a trade down target.
