ACtually Hos both of yours draft orders are wrong, because even though the Giants would be 7-7 they would be in the playoffs therefore they would pick no earlier than 21, because playoff teams pick after non playoffs teams therefore from pick 21-32 there would be 6 NFC teams and 6 AFC teams.

So the Jags would pick 20th and Jet 19th in scernio #1 and #2

That's not true. Common mistake.

If the playoffs started now the Giants would pick in their alloted slot with non-playoff teams but after them if they were knocked out of the playoffs.

You don't need to look any further then the 2005 Draft when Minnesota was the 6th seed but had the 18th pick and the Rams were the 5th seed but had the 19th pick.
