Sadly enough, the Lions could actually use a WR.

I don't see how that would surprise anyone, seeing as how Matt Millen is stoopid. If I'm a Lion's fan, I'm praying every night that they finally fire him.

Come to think of it, how did he get that position in the first place? Did he go straight from the booth to GM?

Joey was better than Brady Quinn college... So he might turn him into the next Chuck Long! But then again Chuck Long was better in College too!!!

If you can pull that off so we can get Calvin Johnson I will fly you to the next Cowboys Super Bowl from anywhere in the world, 1st class.

Throw in Julius Jones too?

Bledsoe + Jones + 1st round pick for #1 overall
DONE DEAL.

Then my pick might be Adrian Peterson.

I would draft Calvin Johnson with #1, and find a speed guy later in the draft, or in Free Agency, or Tyson Thompson to take over for Julius. We have our 3rd Down back/Goal Line Back/ 4th Quarter back in Barber.

So Packers, Texans, and Browns are the favorites for Adrian Peterson?

I can't see any of the other taking him.

even if these make believe scenarios are true, I still disagree on the premise of drafting a top 5 player. Sure they are more likely to suceed, but they demand a huge contract compared to the lower picks of the same round.

I wouldn't exclude the Raiders from that list, though I do think they will trade Moss for one of New England's picks and draft Calvin Johnson.
