Three months ago if you had said the Cleveland pick would be #24 not a single person alive would have believed it. Unreal.

Very true and very frustrating. At the same time, if you were to give me the option of trading a mid-late 1st rounder for an early 2nd rounder and a future first, Im jumping on that like nobodies business.

Dallas has been a little snake bitten when it comes to trading with loser teams and then seeing that team win some games but I would do it every year that I could. If someone came knocking and wanted to move into that Cleveland spot and offered up a 2nd and next years 1st, done deal.

I would like SF to win 2-3 more games at least.....and have Oakland, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Carolina continue to suck.

BTW.....if Washington loses out, does anyone see them going after FS Kenny Phillips in the draft? I don't mean to come across as cold, but they do have a glaring hole at FS now, and what they currently have on the roster will definitely not do.

It was a shrewd move with minimal risk and potential for a huge coup. We'll still get something worthwhile out of the pick even if it's trading out of the first for a second and another first for 2009. :D

Anyone else upset that NE will get a top 5 pick?

Yes, the commish totally screwed up by not taking the highest of the two from the Pats

The new commish screws up on almost a daily basis. The overreaction to spygate was just the beginning. Parcels, Reeves, Jimmy Johnson - they all admit it is overblown and the practice (or similar illegal practices) are commonplace. Can't we move on?
