CBS web site hasn't updated their list yet as to SOS in their order.

Currently we are tied with SD and SF for picks 3, 4 or 5. So a loss assures one of these spots.
A win and we pick no later than 8th. Tied with Ravens, Dolphin, Jaguars, if we win, and they all lose. For the 6, 7, 8 slots.

Browns and Titans tied for 1 & 2 with 3 wins. From last weeks SOS, if we ended up tied with them, I don't think we jump over them. So best we may get is #3. But just a guess.

Week 17 games effecting this.
Of course our game with the Commanders.

Jaguars-Texans...go jags, plus I don't want Texans in playoffs, but another game effects that, but also impacts us.
Titans-Colts...but as I said, I don't think we can jump over the Titans on SOS, so I want Colts to win, to win the AFCS over the Texans. I think they will, need to check

Ravens-Bengals...I think the Ravens SOS beats us out is tied for a better pick. However I want the Bengals to get home field for the playoffs. Or at least a first round bye. Depends on tonight's game.

Steelers-Browns...now the Browns we may be able to jump over on SOS if they win.
Patriots-Dolphins...fat chance the Dolphins pull an upset here, but 3 or 4 games yesterday were off the norm too.
Chargers-Broncos...same as above
Rams-49ers...now the 49ers can win this one, even after the Rams big win over Seattle yesterday, but I would not bet on it.

Right now, looking as if we pick 6 or 7 if we win, and 5th if we lose.

This season is so bitter sweet. I love the early draft pick and the potential opportunities that come with picking early, just too bad that we had to bomb the season to get it.

The stubborn fan in me wants to at least win one dang game to close out the season on a non-depressing note, especially if it means some of the young guys look better. But at this point, it's done. 4th to 8th pick is a big difference, and I'll stomach another loss to lock that in.

I'm not super jazzed about picking a LB there, so if we don't like the two DBs I'm okay with trading back 5-10 spots. Who knows though, the boards will be very different by then.

After the combine those ratings will change.
But even when they do. There will be a wide variety of opinions on who to draft and why. Or even trade scenarios. And none of them will be any better than any others to a degree.
As long as it is done my way...LOL...just kidding...but please no TE's....LOL...

I want QB / RB for now. Someone else will want CB / DT...and if they are impact players, I can't argue against that.
With picking high in the first 4 rounds, and especially the first 3 rounds should bring 3 starters in theory, or 2 sure starters and a soon to be 3rd. If a future QB is not taken.

FA's signed and lost will impact the draft to, or it might.

As for LB, I wouldn't mind Josh Perry in the 3rd if they don't get one before. Unless he moves up the board after the combines, or down.

Well we're currently at 4th so I think you're position if we lose may be a bit off.

BTW - thanks to our last place in the division we play at SF next season and host either TB or NO depending on next week's games.

Another small benefit of our bad season - winning the division would have gotten us AZ and Carolina next year.

Hey lets get a great draft, sign some good free agents, play bad teams, and win it all next year !!! :yourock:

the only problem this year is that the Giants and Eagles are looking at a top 15 pick themselves.
