Biggest surprises for me are both Houston and Fehoko making the roster along with both Ridgeway and Bohanna. 7 WR’s and 11 DL is somewhat unusual. Feel like we could of used more ST players/depth at LB and S. Maybe even another TE/RB/FB. I’m going to guess they think it’s easier to sneak 1 of Houston/Fehoko to the PS during the season when Washington comes back

They're heavy on defense (27 D vs 23 O).

I'm slightly surprised by Basham.

I think that all makes the most sense with the moves they have made. Obviously, they are going to re-sign Maher and McQuaide. Should also re-sign a No. 2 QB, although we could just carry one (or two) for a while on the PS and bring them up for games. (That would give us six games before having to add one to the 53). Same with Goodwin. Although I do think if we decide to put Joseph and Mukuamu on IR, that's the way we would go.

I think a lot of fans don't know the new practice squad rules. They make it much easier to cut a few veterans since you can even bring them up for a few games. We did that with Sprinkle last year. We were trying to do it with Brandon Carr, but he didn't work out.

He aggravated a groin injury in the final preseason game. Don't know if it's even enough to sideline him for the first game, though.

Love the fact we kept 6 LB’s. If Clark can make it back with the neck deal that’s 7. This team needed it as Barr and LVE have had injuries in the past and Cox is coming off the ACL.
