So basically, on sunday we are rooting for the falcons and eagles?

yep. Go EAGLES!! Go FALCONS!!

We play the late game on Sunday night. Can you imagine if we lost after seeing either the skins or panthers lose. That would be a disaster.

We have to rely on 3 teams that have nothing to play for. While I realize only 1 of them needs to win, and Atlanta might even be favored, I just dont see any team with everything on the line losing to a team with nothing to play for. Tampa Bay is a lock, they wont lose to NO. Washington is pretty close to a lock, as Philly just lost by 2 scores to Arizona. Atlanta is our only hope IMO, and hopefully they can continue their dominance of Carolina.

I can see the Eagles taking down the skins. It's in Philly and their division rivals. Not saying that it will but don't count it out. I think the eagles will come out with fired up and they play tough at home.

You just never know, though. Look at what happened to the Vikings in 2003. All they had to do was beat the 3-12 Cardinals to make the playoffs. They allowed two touchdowns in the final two minutes and lost 18-17, giving Seattle a spot in the playoffs.

They played better last week and beat STL on the road but today they laid an egg in the desert. Going home for the final game of the season maybe they make a final statement. In todays NFL anything is possible.

NFL.com Game write up for Atl/Tampa game says that ATL is not eliminated by virtue of todays loss, but will need help this is good news for us since we hold an absolute tiebreaker over CAR and it's ATL/CAR next week.

Ouch!!!

I don't really care if Atlanta is out or not, I just want them to beat Carolina next week. With that and a Dallas win, Cowboys to the playoffs baby!!!!

what i don't understand is wouldn't it have been easier to get in if we just beat the skins

why did we let them win?
did we get paid off?
belt bad for always beating them?
wanted our superbowl highlight video to show how we struggled into playoffs then domainted everyojne?
