A lot doesn't suck, and yes, a lot sucks as well. It would probably be about 50-50
They addressed the WR issue, but still ignore the DT issue. But will a ball control offense, and IF they can get a lead, will that help the defense and the run defense. Remains to be seen.
There are many things like this to look at.

I think the issue here is that we have heard stuff like this for years and years and years. Every offseason presents a new opportunity for Jerry and the Cowboys to gaslight the fanbase about how they've changed and how things are different and how this year will be different.

Most of the fanbase has reached the point that words don't matter anymore, show us. So when the Cowboys come out with the full court press in the offseason about how important culture is and how they are changing it, many fans collectively yawn because they are tired of being duped again.

Don't spend all offseason on a PR campaign about the culture. It's meaningless. Show us the culture change when camp and the season starts. Because if you go out there and start 2-5 and the season ends up being another in a long line of duds, most will not (and should not) care what they said on June 5th.

Calling this fan base negative after 30 years of absolute failure is the biggest fail I have ever seen.

Either you were not around to witness the SB wins so you dont understand what the bar for this team is supposed to be (which makes sense) or you were around and you are just a minion who will soak up and bathe in whatever Jerry gives you and call out anyone who doesn't buy into the same nonsense.

This team hired a coach from down the hall from the old coach, did nothing but sign JAGs in FA again just earlier, had a good draft, and brought in Pickens and you want me to believe this team is SB bound this season?

Yeah, sorry, Ill stick in the show me area of this rainbows and unicorns house you live in.

Yeah, penalties under MM were just unacceptable. It’ll be refreshing to not hear, “It’s like anything else…..” from MM.

I always respected Mike McCarthy when he was at Green Bay, but when he came to Dallas I thought he was a lazy coach. Their was a problem with disapline and I am not so sure the team bought in to his coaching style or believed in his schemes.I thought his running game schemes were shaky at best,but I think these coaches under Shottenheimer will improve in running schemes. That will help the offense big time.

I was pointing out this fan base has a reason to be negative. And you tried to justify that we need to "fan" the way you do or we arent fans.

I am getting really tired of people thinking they can talk to and treat people however they want because they have a title and dont agree with what is being said to them.

Maybe dont call out 90 percent of the fan base trying to prove a point and you wont have this vitriol coming back at you.

Who says I give them no chance to do anything, and what actually have they DONE to accomplish this. Do you know the concept of "Lip Service?" One difference between me and you is that I don't want anyone to be negative come game time, when I do have my hopes up high every game. But when I am on a forum, I want to be able to give my true analysis of how I see the team. It seems like you do not want anybody being negative on the zone at anytime, which in effects makes this the Happy Zone, at which point the place stops being a forum at all. I don't like true haters and I don't like homers, but I can stand the haters a bit more than the homers because I don't like self delusion -- people lying to themselves in other words. he always always always does that after a disasterous season. if we had a decent season, then he meddles, he tries to tweak things and he always does the wrong thing. but when shiet hits the fan, he steps back. seemingly showing he has changed. he doesn't like being called out, even last season when he was, he becamse combative....
next season he will be back meddling again. if we do good, then he meddles to take credit and tries to tweak again. if we do bad, he will justify it because he is the GM and he as to meddle.

its going to turn into shiet sooner or later. its jerry.

Then there are those of us, like myself, that are in between. Can look at the bright side, and also see the things are are not so good. However, we get the brunt from the haters and hammers because they do not agree.

Then there are those of us, who wait to praise, when we can see some kind of evidence that the cowboys are working on culture change. I mean, I'm still stuck at the question is the current HC known to be a culture changer for any team?
