Its so great that he passed that eagle mouth keith jackson.

He is on pace to take over 2nd place all-time for the Cowboys and 5th place all-time in the NFL by the end of this season.

Considering he is only in his 7th season that is amazing!

so far this season he is averaging 5.5 receptions a game.

Now if he averages 5 catches a game for the remainder of this season and the next 6 years, and doesn't miss any games.....
2009 8 games = 40 + 473 = 513
2010 16 games = 80 + 513 = 593
2011 16 games = 80 + 593 = 673
2012 16 games = 80 + 673 = 753
2013 16 games = 80 + 753 = 833
2014 16 games = 80 + 833 = 913
2015 16 games = 80 + 913 = 993

Now if he averages 6 catches a game
2009 8 games = 48 + 473 = 521
2010 16 games = 96 + 521 = 617
2011 16 games = 96 + 617 = 713
2012 16 games = 96 + 713 = 809
2013 16 games = 96 + 809 = 905
2014 16 games = 96 + 905 = 1001
2015 16 games = 96 + 1001 = 1097

Now if he averages 7 catches a game
2009 8 games = 56 + 473 = 529
2010 16 games = 112 + 529 = 641
2011 16 games = 112 + 641 = 753
2012 16 games = 112 + 753 = 865
2013 16 games = 112 + 865 = 977
2014 16 games = 112 + 977 = 1089
2015 16 games = 112 + 1089 = 1201

I think Jason Witten is already going to be in the Ring of Honor.

I think he needs some more solid years to get into the Hall of Fame.

rec/g so far in his career

2.3 (15/35)
5.4 (16/87)
4.1 (16/66)
4.0 (16/64)
6.0 (16/96)
5.1 (16/81)

and so far this season

5.5 (8/44)

Still active and catching passes every game.

Imagine if he weren't stuck in KC all those years.

That may have worked in his favor.

He didn't have any big time receivers taking away from his opportunities.

My how things would have changed if we could've landed him instead of David LaFluer.

KC had some good offenses a few years in the early 2000s. But the last few years they've sucked. We sucked on offense till Romo and TO era really.
