Am I missing something here? He’s also got us at 9-8 on the season.

He really likes the Saints, Lions and Seattle better than Dallas. Obviously he thinks the AFC is much better than the NFC. The good news is when Davis picks Dallas to be bad they have a great season.

That's really pathetic. Even the most pessimistic has us in the Top 10...I've seen many right below the Top 5. So 16 seems like a "hate" call unless he just doesn't think a team can keep winning double digits.

What transpired since May to the drop the team 10 spots? Is this guy tight with Farniok? Does he think the season hinged on Overshown making a dozen tackles a game?

I've seen some crazy prognostications on this site from the forum members, but I'm at a loss on this one.

I like it. The more I hear recently is that Dallas will take steps back. Haven't even heard them making the playoffs, recently. The Giants, Washington Football Team, Seahawks, and Lions are all supposed to be better.

Good...Dallas tends to be better without the hype.

Hate to break it to you, but they are still getting as much or more hype this year. One dude’s opinion from USA Today doesn’t change that.

Preseason rankings are meaningless but there are no guarantees we will finish in the top 10 so everyone is entitled to their opinion. That being said I wonder if his being from DC has anything to do with it
