Dallas Cowboys safety Jeff Heath has headed to the locker room with an injury that appears to require stitches according to early reports. How he got the cut is unknown.

Heath has been the subject of constant ridicule throughout his career, but he has been reliable. In fact, he’s been nothing but available for the Dallas coaching staff to use in a myriad of ways. No player has played more snaps for the team this year, as he’s racked up over 500 of them on both defense and special teams.
On the season Heath has 36 tackles and four passes defended.
Darian Thompson replaced him in the lineup.
