The Cowboys weren’t very active during the first wave of free agency, but they’ve certainly ratcheted up their efforts over the last couple of business days. Not only has Dallas inked two defensive linemen, they are also busy hosting other free agents. On Monday they hosted WR Randall Cobb and safety Clayton Geathers. Both are leaving town without a deal.
Though doors aren’t closed just because a player leaves town without a deal, Dallas is already focusing their efforts on a possibly bigger fish to catch. After doing their due diligence last week, the Cowboys seem to want to know more about where exactly safety Eric Berry is in his career. They are bringing in the Kansas City Chiefs star for his own visit on Tuesday.

Berry is a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-Team All-Pro, but has only played three games over the last two seasons due to a several leg injuries.
