USC v OSU

talent usually comes from these places:

California
Texas
Florida

it's just something in the water there

To be honest, it probably has alot to do with population size.

Also, Louisiana, Virginia and Ohio also produce talent.

I like a lot of other teams like Georgia, LSU, Alabama, and Clemson. My two faves are USC and Texas in that order.

Must have been an interesting championship game for you a few years back then. lolZ.

Yeah, I almost couldn't lose that one. I did want USC to win though.

Texas loses so much talent to out of state schools, especially teams like OU....OU would completely suck if they had to solely rely on talent from Oklahoma High Schools.

During one game last week on ABC, they displayed a stat that 5-6 schools in the Big 12 had more talent for Texas then their own state.

The problem is, alot of players from the State of Texas do not want to stay in the State.

I believe there are 120 D-1 teams.

There should be ten 12 team conferences. Each team plays 3 non-conference games and 8 conference games. Each conference has a Championship Game, with the winner of that game going into the Championship pool.

Wild card round....I dont know a fair way to decide what 4 teams play in this round.....except for a Lottery. The two winners of the WC games advance to the pool of 8.

A Lottery decides the matchup for each round. Or, you can simply do like HS does, and have the playoffs progress by region. 8 teams gets knocked down to 4 and then down to 2 and then finally a Champion.

i havent really given this as much thought....just kinda spinnin it off the top of my head

USC's schedule definately favors a trip to Miami.

I think they will have some scares later in the Season.

I just can't wait to see them hang 70+ on Notre Dame :D .

"did u really think?"

God please don't make me have to go sleep to a Stephen Bishop song while I get all these TM and E-mails that keep coming in.

On and On

Is that the best you can do Big Ten?

well if u wouldnt talk so much smack about ur team and conference, you wouldnt have to eat so much crow.....btw......although your Buckeyes were taken like altar boys....they escaped disease free.....Trojans were involved

I think the BSC is probably good enough to get the top 4 teams right most of the time. Therefore, I would take the top 4 teams and play 1 against 4 in a bowl game and 2 against 3 in another bowl game with the winners playing in the National Championship Bowl. It would only add one game for the two winners to play for the championship.

Hey Jim Tressel.......answer your phone.....it's LenDale White......he is calling to tell you

OHIO STATE STILL SUCKS

Just got home and turned the game on, 35-3, ouch!

Just goes to show you that polls are a joke, #5 should not be getting manhandled by #1 like this.

Personally, I think all the polls that affect the BCS should not be released until a couple of weeks into the season to get a more accurate assessment of all the teams.

I still wouldn't be suprised to see USC lose one game.

The polls out right now are garbage polls that are voted on the computer polls gives a more accurate assessment IMO.

I hope we get a shot at drafting Malaluga.

Would be nice. That Cushing kid (I think that was his name) looked good too.

No need for that kind of graphic interpertation of your youth but I'm not a USC fan

as I said, it was about Big !0 vs Pac 10

and actually there was no smack talk. The person that I was speaking about just lost is unborn son, and the thing that has always helped us get through both of or difficult time has been football.

Football was healing for all of us

This communication and this thread is about FOOTBALL but you and many other have ****ed this board up.

WG, Hos, and even Pops know that this board isn't what it used to be because of *******s like you.

since this game has become complete garbage.......what college teams do you guys root for?

for me Texas is my favorite team, far and away. I also like Alabama, Georgia, Syracuse (liked McNabb in college, but hate him in the NFL), Stanford, and Army

I root for the Louisville Cardnals and the Kentucky Wildcats, in that order. Of course that is not really surprising, now is it?:D

hypocrit.......you chastize me for my content, and i was at least subtle....you on the other hand were quite vulgar. i could care less if you are vulgar or not. that is your choice. but dont go around criticizing others for doing something and then taking it to extremes in your rebuttal post.

BTW, I have been on this board for a while now.....and I am sure that there are several posters, including the ones you have mentioned who feel I bring a lot of quality insight to this place. Sure I may go a little overboard with my potty humor, but that is me. you shouldnt be so sensative and if you are, too flippin bad.

now remember, next time you decide to go on a cursing rage........there are children who post in here....show some decorum please.

:laugh2:
