Use Dez More Often!

I was at the game and words cannot describe how frustrated I was not seeing Dez involved for much of the game. The guy is a BEAST, a freak of nature. Dez reminds me a lot of Andre Johnson the great receiver for the other Texas team except he's even more athletic. Dez is just a matchup nightmare. He's got as I mentioned INCREDIBLE athleticism and speed. He's also big and can break tackles. There is absolutely no reason why he should be used like he was today. 4 receptions? It's not his fault. Tony needs to stop being so conservative especially next week against Detroit's secondary which is mediocre at best. Dez if given the chance should have a field day.*

Dez admitted in his post game interview that he was nowhere near 100% healthy. He played because he couldn't let his QB go out there with his injuries. "Inspired" is the word he used.

His involvement is directly correlated to his and Romo's injuries.

Dez is awesome. His postgame interview where he says "you gotta follow a guy like that" in reference to Romo shows just how lucky we are to have Romo as the leader of this team. He's able to rally players around him. He has bailed Garrett's *** out numerous times now.

you could see him kinda limping on Felix jones first long run at the end of the play.

his health will get better and he will be fine

Loved the interview.

Especially the part where he says "as long as it's a W, 0 catches feels great", or something to that effect.

Hear that TO?

Even injured, he's a nightmare for one DB to bring down, even when he's well-covered.

If the ball doesn't go to him several times during the course of a game, the Cowboys are doing the other team a favor.

I could tell early in the game Dez was gimped. He was basically playing decoy out there all game. If he was full speed, they would've gone to him all game, guaranteed. If I needed any more evidence, I had it when we lined up Marty B to run the fade that a healthy Dez would definitely have been the guy for.

A deep thigh bruise makes it impossible to have explosive speed and leaping ability. A 70% healthy Dez becomes just human enough that guys can actually cover him. :D

I just hope next week he's good enough to make a few more plays, because if they want to get a win against Detroit it's going to take a little more offense than last night.

He definitely was gimping, I just hope he didn't cause further injury to it because Garrett wanted a decoy out there.

Decoy? 3rd and 21 and Romo goes to Dez for the big 1st down to help us win. That is not being a decoy.

Dez was having problems but then heck Romo was feeling pain as well but we needed this game vs an NFC East foe so guys had to go out and suck it up

That play wasn't even designed to go to Dez. Romo just pointed for Dez to go downfield when he scrambled out the pocket.

I'm not saying he was 100% decoy, but mostly that's what he was doing. He would've had more than 4 targets if he was fully healthy, no doubt.

I agree if healthy he is used more in that game but as Tony said at the post game. Skins played a lot of coverage’s doubling up on the outside WR and were willing to go one on one with the inside routs

he was playing injured and couldn't go full game, so they used him when they really needed to and used him effectively.

Where the hell have you been? Dez has a boo-boo...............again.
