5th-7th? No way. Late 3rd-late 4th more likely. He could actually be one of the best coverage FS's in this draft. He's either a big CB or a coverage 1st FS, both are at a premium in today's nfl.

Probably more like it
Late 3rd to early 5th maybe
Anyway, mid 2nd seemed 1-3 rounds early to me

You wanna put a bet on that?

Not really.
You see how I worded that.

I was thinking.....

It's not a player I've much conviction about one way or the other....certainly worthy of a bet.

Us not taking Manziel last year if he was there at 16 or betting against Romo having a good year last year.....now those were was something I was willing to bet on and were subjects people felt strongly about.
Won both of those...:)

If you want to a friendly bet, I'd bet this guy goes at least one round later than you picked him...which is a huge amount that early in the draft.

Smart man, there's a very, very small chance he makes it out of the 2nd day. There's even talk that he could be one of those guys who sneaks into Round 1. I just don't like how I got jumped on for taking him, all you need to do is do some research on how his stock is trending. Again, this is a 6'1" 205lb CB with 4.4 speed that was a top performer in virtually every event at the combine... and also started 4 years in the pac12. Not many DBs available with his combination of skill set and film.

This is actually pretty tough. DT is addressed and I don't like any of the DE's left as a 2nd rounder. Also don't see any outstanding values on the o line to warrant taking in the 2nd.

That leaves RB, LB, and CB as the choice here in my eyes

RB- Duke Johnson, Tevin Coleman, David Johnson
LB- Benardick McKinney, Paul Dawson
CB- D'Juon Smith, Alex Carter, Steve Nelson

I'll wait to see what others say before I cast my vote

I'd probably try to trade down here.

But I have AJ Cann, OG, South Carolina (and Benardrick McKinney as the best availablle.
I guess I'll take Cann. Tough call though.

I see a chance to get RB or CB help in the 3rd or 4th.

Tevin Coleman or Mario Edwards Jr. I'm very surprised to see Mario last this long.

Cedric Ogbuehi OT......And this would be a steal. Your getting a 1st round talent in round 2. Let him redshirt this season behind Free....In 2016 He probably beats Free for the RT job.

1st round talent?
I don't know about that Floaty.
Time will tell, I guess.

I know the new draft scouts have him in the 90s...but I understand that's just one group of opinions.

I'd trade down if possible here, especially with Perryman gone. The CB D'Joun Smith would be my pick, he reminds me of Scandrick some in his smoothness. The third round is going to have some steals IMO.

I prefer a trade down too.

Could fun.

Hey RS, if we use the chart, is there anything preventing us from dropping down into the upper to mid 3rd picking up another pick?
