as we enter our 3rd season in NCAA FBS level(4th season overall). let me say a few words. last season was an exciting season, we almost made a bowl game. this season, we can do better and we are fully bowl eligible.
Friday Aug 29 will be the start of the new season as we go on the road to face the Houston Cougars at their new stadium on ESPNU.
Thursday Sept 4 will be the home opener against Arizona on Fox Sports 1. but theres competition; NFL Opening night: Green Bay vs Seattle on NBC. is most of SA choosing to watch some boring NFL game involving two of the most boring-est teams that dont mean nothing to our city?
i love the roadrunners, they are part of our city. when it comes to the Runners playing ball, nothing matters, everything else is boring(unless theres a good reason to miss watching the Runners). we want to treat our football program the same way we treat our spurs. its is a big thing for our city, having one of our universities having a football program move quickly up to FBS level and exciting fans with their brand of football. Forget UT, forget A&M, forget the major teams from our state(unless theres a good reason to root for these teams, unless you have relatives who successfully attended those schools for real). its about loving our Roadrunners. if they make a bowl game, it will be the happiest moment in my life. so lets make it happen. GO ROADRUNNERS in 2014.
