1) On the first couple of days of a Uverse installation, do you get all channels as a preview? I got Uverse installed Saturday and I had several channels that wasn't apart of the package I requested, however, yesterday I noticed that all of them were unavailable now.

2) Do you have to pay extra to get Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS in HD? When I try to go to those channels, they are unavailable. With Timewarner, those HD channels came with basic cable and don't the major networks broadcast in HD for free?

AT&T Customer Service is horrible because you wait forever to talk with someone, so I just decided to ask here instead.

I have DirecTV and I pay extra for the HD package. I'm sure U-verse does, as well.

I went on att's website for you and went on their FAQ site.

Question:

How do I add High Definition service to my account?

Answer: Answer last updated: 11-26-08

It's easy to add High Definition to your AT&T U-verse TV Service at an additional charge

Log in to AT&T U-verse Central

Select Account

Select My Products to view a list of your current and available services for your account

You must have a 720p, 1080i, or 1080p capable HD TV to take advantage of this service.

Please note: Extended Definition TVs (EDTV) will not deliver an HDTV viewing experience.

More help for optimizing your AT&T U-verse TV High Definition (HD) viewing experience is available at AT&T U-verse U-connect.

I'm thinking you can also access your acct online through att.com.

Thanks for the feedback WG.

I guess I will be calling ATT to upgrade  .
Read a lil closer Mike. Looks like you can just click the AT&T U-verse Central link and upgrade your package online.

Yeah, I need to call them about something else as well.

Also, I download a TON of stuff on a weekly basis, especially Bittorrents. I wonder if this will have an effect on the two TVs.
